Tiny@Koony - Tiny House Farm Stay

Tiny@Koony is an ‘off the grid’ tiny house in a tranquil farm setting. The perfect place to escape for a few days to relax and unwind or base yourself and explore our beautiful corner of South Gippsland, just under 2 hours from Melbourne’s CBD. Beef and sheep graze the property and you are sure to encounter an abundance of native wildlife. The space The perfect getaway for couples or solo travelers. Enjoy morning coffee inside our beautifully appointed property, relax with a wine and platter on the deck or toast marshmallows on the outdoor fire while watching the sheep grazing as the sun goes down, and if you just want to laze about, there are also hammocks! You can also venture out and explore the Great Southern Rail Trail and the quaint towns, eateries and wineries dotted close by. It is highly likely during your stay that you will encounter kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, kookaburras and even a koala or two! Tiny@Koony is set on our sheep and beef property. Inside, all is easily accessible on a single level. Boasting a comfortable bed with quality linen, a fully appointed kitchen with gas cooktop, oven, fridge, microwave and Nespresso machine. There is also a separate bathroom with shower, sink and composting toilet (which looks just like a normal loo!). The space is surprisingly spacious and is complemented by a large deck leading to a relaxing landscaped fire pit and BBQ area. Firewood and marshmallows supplied! Tea, pod coffee, milk, butter and a small breakfast hamper is also complimentary. As are some pantry staples. Guest access Tiny@Koony is completely private from the main residence with a separate driveway. We are located on a no through gravel road, so traffic is minimal. However, we urge you to drive with care to avoid creating dust and endangering wildlife. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access. There is also no TV and no wifi. Other things to note Tiny@Koony is completely off grid, so we ask that you are mindful of water and electricity use. We are a working farm, so there will possibly be motorbike, tractor or animal noises at times during your stay. We also ask that you do not wander the farm. Thank you. No smoking. Pets are not permitted. We are located 4kms from the township of Koonwarra and the Great Southern Rail Trail.
