Home in Cooper Landing

This three room, completely private space has a full bathroom, compact kitchen with microwave and toaster oven. The unit includes an appx. 400 square foot bedroom with two full beds and a futon. There is a fire pit, picnic table, basketball hoop and even a swing. A horse shoe pit is in the works.You have a small private deck, and fire pit. A sauna is available with owner permission. Wood sold separately. The space Located just above Snug Harbor on Kenai Lake , the original Log Cabin was completed in 1942 ,additions to this cabin to accommodate the large growing family in 1955 ,in the early 1960's another addition was added to accommodate the addition of Electricity in Cooper Landing .With the exception of the garage built in 1992 , all the structures on this property are from the 1950's .A creek flow's into Kenai lake on the western border that flow's into Kenai Lake , some sockeye salmon spawn right at this location .The quietness of this location makes it just the right place after a day of activities . Guest access The guest have access to the Sauna ,Fire Pit, basketball hoop , swing and new horse shoe pit .A couple trails start at the cabin that access the new walking path into Cooper Landing . Other things to note Many trails start and end in Cooper Landing. It really is in the center of the Kenai Peninsula. Great fishing, rafting, hiking, and kayaking are all available. Cooper Landing is close to Seward, Hope, and Soldotna and a great stopover on the way to Homer. You have access to a new walking path on Snug Harbor Road from the top or our driveway.
