The attractive, detached cottage is located on a large natural property in a quiet, natural location on the edge of the tranquil village of Fågelfors in the Swedish region of Småland. On the ground floor of the typical Swedish red wooden house is the spacious living and dining area. Two comfortable sofas, fireplace, TV with satellite TV (German and international programs), DVD player, stereo system and a cozy reading corner invite you to linger. Various DVDs, CDs, books and a selection of games are available here. The fully equipped country-style fitted kitchen has a 4-burner ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and many other cooking utensils. The modern bathroom has a shower, toilet and washing machine. The romantic bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a nice double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a large built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom with its built-in wardrobe and two comfortable single beds (90 x 200 cm) is upstairs. At the bottom of the stairs to the upper floor there is a lockable door for child safety. The staircase is typical of Sweden, so it is a bit steeper than most German staircases. At the top of the stairs there is a threshold-free child gate. On request (please specify when booking), a high chair and a travel cot (incl. mattress, sheets and duvet covers), children's dishes and age-appropriate toys are provided free of charge. The 3000 m² natural property and the directly adjacent forest offer plenty of space to relax, play and explore Swedish flora and fauna. A covered, partially glazed terrace, with comfortable garden furniture and a massive outdoor grill ensures well-being in all weather. Two sun loungers are available in the garden. A coverable sandbox, swing and various outdoor toys provide children with entertainment for many hours. Around the small town of Fågelfors there are many different beautiful lakes: the lake Övresjö with official swimming area 3 km away is particularly suitable for swimming. The nearby Emån River offers ample opportunity for fishing - it is considered one of the best fishing waters in Europe. Fishing licenses for the surrounding lakes are available in Högsby. The beautiful area around the "Blomsterhus Fågelfors" is ideal for sporting activities such as hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing and Nordic walking. The idyllic, nearby forest also offers ample opportunity for berry and mushroom picking and for observing a wide variety of native wildlife. Guest access The entire house and garden are at the guests' disposal. Other things to note The "Blomsterhus Fågelfors" is winterproof and has central heating and its own well from which the water for the entire house is obtained. The water is filtered with a professional filter and is included in the total price. Electricity is billed according to usage. For stays longer than 14 days, pellets will also be billed according to consumption. The vacation home is a non-smoking house, pets are not allowed. The price for the final cleaning is 90.00 euros per stay. Bed linen, as well as Internet access with Wi-Fi and bicycles are provided free of charge. Towels can be booked for €10.00 per person. The vacation home includes 4 bicycles and a private parking space. Prices may change until a binding confirmation.
