The space The Jungle Suite is one of the signature rooms at Hotel Dos Aguas, our small adults-only boutique hotel in Playa Sámara. Renovated in June 2026, it combines a fresh, bright interior with a beautiful dark-wood ceiling that adds warmth and natural tropical character. One of the highlights is the private terrace — an inviting outdoor living space with comfortable seating, a hammock and a small private outdoor kitchen. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a slow breakfast, relax with a book or simply spend time surrounded by the tropical atmosphere of the hotel. Inside, the suite is spacious and welcoming, with two queen-size beds and a beautiful private bathroom. The combination of generous indoor space and your own private outdoor area gives the Jungle Suite an almost apartment-like feel while still offering the personal atmosphere and amenities of Hotel Dos Aguas. Step beyond your private terrace and enjoy the lush tropical garden, swimming pool, hammocks and peaceful shared areas of our adults-only hotel. Despite this tranquil setting, you are wonderfully central in Sámara. Sámara Beach is just 450 m away, while restaurants, cafés, shops and the town center are all within easy walking distance. Guest access Guests have access to Hotel Dos Aguas’ tropical garden, swimming pool, hammocks, and fully equipped shared outdoor kitchen with dining and lounge areas. These communal spaces are exclusively for hotel guests and offer plenty of room to cook, relax, read, or simply enjoy the peaceful tropical surroundings. Other things to note Hotel Dos Aguas is an adults-only (18+) hotel designed for guests who appreciate a peaceful, respectful, and environmentally conscious stay. Peace & quiet: Hotel Dos Aguas is a peaceful place to relax. To preserve this atmosphere, music and other audio may only be played using headphones anywhere on the property. Speakers, radios, or other audible music are not permitted. The shared outdoor kitchen closes at 8:30 pm. From that time onward, we ask guests to keep noise to a minimum. Quiet hours begin at 9:00 pm, with complete quiet from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Pool & beach: When returning from the beach, please rinse the sand from your feet at the washing area in front of the first building. Please always shower and rinse off any sand before entering the pool. Pool towels are provided for pool use only and should not be taken to the beach. Housekeeping: Light housekeeping is provided Monday to Saturday. There is no room cleaning on Sundays. Bed linen and towels are changed every four days. Shared kitchen: The outdoor kitchen is available daily until 8:30 pm. Please leave the kitchen, dishes, and dining areas clean and tidy after use so that everyone can enjoy the space. Water & bathrooms: Tap water is safe to drink. Due to the local plumbing system, toilet paper must not be flushed and should always be placed in the bin provided. Sustainability: We care deeply about preserving the natural beauty of Costa Rica and ask our guests to help us use water and energy responsibly. Waste is separated, and our organic food waste is reused locally, so please take particular care to place only suitable food waste in the designated organic bin. Most rooms are equipped with air conditioning. To reduce unnecessary energy consumption, A/C use is limited to a maximum of 12 hours per day. Please use the A/C only with doors and windows closed and at a reasonable temperature. Parking: Four on-site parking spaces are available, with additional parking nearby. On-site parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in the hotel, rooms, garden, pool, or shared areas. Smoking is only permitted in the designated area near the parking area.
