Waterfront haven with kayaks, tennis and breakfast
Description
The location is a beautiful natural environment with Coorong National Park on the doorstep. The home you are staying in is full of light due to an abundance of glass doors and windows, giving unimpeded outlook to the water and the myriad of Coorong birdlife. There is a spectacle of stars on clear nights. An easy drive takes you to Goolwa, Middleton, Port Elliot and Victor Harbor. Included is use of kayaks, safety vests, fast internet, streaming services and continental b/fast. Furbabies welcome. The space A spacious Lockable bedroom with glass door leading to your private rustic balcony overlooking Mundoo Channel, directly adjoins the kitchen, dining and internal living rooms, which are shared with me. Should you be travelling with friends, there is a second upstairs lockable Queen bedroom available. The upstairs bathroom is shared. I live on the property and have a bedroom upstairs. You will receive a key to the gate and home to come and go as you wish. Guest access You are able to access all parts of the property except for my bedroom and a third bedroom. The common areas are shared with the host. However I am happy to provide you with as much privacy as you require and sleep in my downstairs bedroom if you a seeking full privacy upstairs. During your stay I am very happy to provide you with an itinerary for your stay including the "best of" in the region and have a number of useful tourism brochures. I am always happy to interact/chat/have a glass of wine or other beverage of choice with you, but equally happy to let you enjoy your time here with privacy. This is a traditional hosting and I live on the property and share the kitchen and facilities with my guests. https://www.airbnb.com.au/s/guidebooks?refinement_paths%5B%5D=%2Fguidebooks%2F1381861&s=67&unique_share_id=543fc62e-799c-464b-a5b1-716bf1f3e3ab Other things to note My property is in the process of external renovation. The external outbuildings and fencing are very old eg the shed was built by my grandfather in 1959. Since making this haven my permanent home 3 years ago, I have updated the electronics, climate control and kitchen appliances, insulation, roofing, furniture, electrics, etc. There is a rustic fishing shack vibe externally. A dog is welcome if they promise not to chase my ragdoll cat, Louie, who is very chilled around dogs and doesn't run from them. I am happy to give you privacy.
