The space Our house, built in 1932, sits on a large corner lot on a quiet, tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood that's close to downtown, the South End Arts District, UVM, and the airport. You'll stay in a cozy, quiet suite of two interconnected bedrooms that is separate from where the hosts/owners live, ensuring your privacy. The hall bath is for your use only. You also have use of a private downstairs living room. Your bedroom suite features new memory-foam mattresses, modern and antique Vermont-made furniture, Garnet Hill linens, fluffy robes, lots of books, in-room Nespresso and tea, plus a daily VT breakfast of maple yogurt and homemade granola. Your bathroom, down the hall from the suite, includes a full bathtub, stall shower, new towels, and extra toiletries. We use only natural cleaning products. In warmer months, you can enjoy sitting in the Adirondack chairs in our front garden, listening to the birds and enjoying the sun. Lake Champlain beaches and the Burlington bike path are close by. Guest access Our door opens with a keypad--we'll give you the code before you arrive. Your space in our home includes: the living room to the left when you enter, which can be closed off from the rest of the house; the two adjoining bedrooms to the right at the top of the stairs; and the bathroom in the upstairs hallway. During your stay Feel free to ask us any questions or reach out for anything you need, either in person or by text or phone. Other things to note We work from home and we live with two indoor cats. They do not enter the suite but they are in the house. The suite is on the second floor, so accessing the suite will require ascending a set of stairs. The private hall bath is accessed by stepping down one stair, across a small landing, and then up one stair. There is a nightlight in the hallway and in the bathroom. We are a shoe-free household--please leave your shoes in the tray in the hall.
