Located in the historic village of Lucknow, you are an easy 3-hour drive from Sydney. You will be at home with cool climate wines. The space The Horned Cow is exclusively offered as a luxury short term rental by a leading Sydney designer, with every feature considered. Constructed in Jan-23. **Our booking fee structure is simple - you pay for the entire house and exclusive access to the grounds for the advertised rate. Rooms and cupboards are never locked off. Maximum 10 people + space for travel cots with infants** We have 5 large bedrooms (x2 King and x3 Queens) all carpeted with floor to ceiling operatable windows (with fly screens). All rooms have built in wardrobes with hangers and mirrors. Bed configuration do not separate. We provide all bedding and bathroom needs; professionally laundered towels, bed linen & blankets. There are 2 bathrooms (inc supplies), and separate laundry with washer and dryer (inc supplies), all with underfloor heating. Mattresses are a very comfortable medium Sleeping Duck. There are 4 pillows in each room (2 hard and 2 soft pillow). Supplementary blankets are also available in each room. Makeup face washers are provided. We welcome children of all ages, with a high chair provided. Infants are not included in the total head count for the booking. Please bring your own travel cot (there is ample space in either king room for a travel cot, but we do not supply a cot in the house). The open planned living room boasts a large stylish Jarden lounge and chairs, with a sleek slow combustion fireplace and 65inch TV with Netflix. The dining room is set off the kitchen, catering for 10 seats. A fully equipped kitchen is provided with a large fridge, dual climate wine fridge, an abundance of crockery, glassware, cooking equipment, cheese boards, knives, baking equipment etc. A Nespresso coffee machine and coffee pods are provided for your use. All bedrooms and living spaces are serviced by central ducted air conditioning, or each room can be individually controlled by panels in each room. Instant electric hot water means hot water never runs cold. Being set on 2.5 acres, parking is of no issue. The house set back from the main road and double glazing will provide you the serenity you are seeking. The property has 3 wineries within 2 minutes' drive, with various other wineries throughout Orange at your doorstep. Wifi is provided throughout the house and surrounding grounds, as well as a portable bluetooth connected speaker for your music choices. You can also choose to use the Sono sound bar. Whilst the house doesn't cater for wheelchair access to get in the front door, when in the house there are no steps or nib to bathrooms (i.e. everything is level including exterior door treads). The showers in both bathrooms provide 700mm wide access with no shower doors (refer to photos) for ease of showering. Guest access The house is exclusively a professional short term rental. You will have the place to yourself - we don't live at the property and your privacy is our priority. Unlike many bookings, this house and its private grounds are exclusively yours to enjoy for your stay at The Horned Cow. You will have unrestricted access to the entire property, including wildlife and cows from the neighbouring property that sometimes come direct to the boundary fence. Many rabbits and birds roam freely and are peaceful to observe. Other things to note The exterior of the house is fitted with Google Nest security cameras and an alarm, both of which are TURNED OFF during your stay.
