A 575 sq ft. fully private suite with your own entrance in a beautiful early American eyebrow colonial. The mid-century farmhouse style is highlighted by a darling kitchenette. And don't forget the bathroom hot steam shower! Please note the kitchenette has an induction stove top and convection air fryer toaster oven. It's a great for light cooking. Please ask for a grill for cooking meat and greasy food. We are also have a cycling side business offering bike rentals and tours. The space Lots of light, original art, books galore and internet access. What more do you need? Oh, yes, an adorable kitchenette – with every amenity needed for light cooking – with gorgeous wood walls made from the bottom of the home's old wide board floors. This is not a suitable space for infants or young children who might be on the loud side. Guest access The suite also has it's own private deck to enjoy your morning coffee on. Other things to note - If a 2nd bed is wanted, we have a 30$ setup fee to put together a real wood frame with real mattress, placed in living room. Please notify us ahead of arrival and we can adjust invoice and get set up. - We are one of the greenest Airbnb's around with almost 15kw of solar power, mini-split units throughout, and a green back-up wood gassifying boiler. - An art studio can be used as part of a longer rental agreement. We would need to provide a separate "special offer" invoice for a longer rental. - Two full sets of walls divide the suite from the owners living area, hence it is it very difficult for noise to pass between the two spaces. Yet the living room area of the suite is under the master bedroom. The floor is sound insulated yet you might hear a creak or two of the wood floors above you. The suite bedroom itself is entirely separated from the rest of the home - none of it's 4 walls or ceiling are contiguous with any other part of the home. - We also rent out our barn as a separate unit through Airbnb, usually two couples who in most likelihood you will never see! - A 40" 1080p LED Smart TV is kept in the closet but lightweight and easy to pull out. It can be used in the bedroom (only the bedroom please) for viewing. You can connect to your own streaming accounts to use it and there is also a fair bit of free content through Roku. - The EV charger works for J1772 (non-Teslas) and Teslas. We do ask that anyone who uses it to please guestimate the charging cost and reimburse for the electricity drawn.
