A 620 sq ft. fully private suite with own entrance. The early American farmhouse is highlighted by a darling kitchenette, hot steam shower and original MCM furniture. We live on the other side of the eyebrow colonial, originally built in 1800. Please see the other details to note, including that the kitchenette has an induction stove top and convection air fryer toaster oven. It's a great for light cooking. Please ask for a grill for cooking meat and greasy food. Thank you! The space Lots of light, original art, books galore and internet access. What more do you need? Oh, yes, an adorable kitchenette – with every amenity needed for light cooking – with gorgeous wood walls made from the bottom of the home's old wide board floors. This is not a suitable space for infants or young children who might be on the loud side. Guest access The suite also has it's own private deck to enjoy your morning coffee on. Other things to note - After 9pm, we ask for it to be kept quiet in the living room area. Conversations, video watching are best done in the bedroom at that hour. The suite bedroom walls and ceiling are not contiguous with any other part of our home, so very sound-proof. The only sound you may hear from us is a creak or two of the wood floors from the room above the living area (though those floors are sound insulated as well). - If a 2nd bed is needed, we have a 30$ setup fee to put together a real wood frame bed, placed in living room. Please notify us ahead of arrival if interested. - We are a zoned b&b (barn & bike, llc) with a second unit (a stand alone barn) also often rented out - usually two couples who in most likelihood you will never see! - We offer bike rentals (35$/4 hours). See barn & bike, llc for more info. - We are one of the greenest lodging options anywhere - it’s complicated but no green washing. Ask for a tour! - A 40" 1080p LED Smart TV is kept in the closet but lightweight and easy to pull out. It can be used in the bedroom (only the bedroom please) for viewing. You can connect to your own streaming accounts to use it and there is also a fair bit of free content through Roku. - The EV charger works for J1772 (non-Teslas) and Teslas with our adapter. We do ask that anyone who uses it to please guestimate the charging cost and reimburse for the electricity drawn. - Lastly, we have two cats (indoor/outdoor) who are never allowed in the suite because other guests can have severe allergic reactions. One is particularly frightened by dogs of any type, thus we ask guests with ESA dogs to please book elsewhere. Cats are not allowed in the suite under any circumstances, please.
