Door County, Wisconsin is a special place in it's own right but Ephraim is a quiet village perfect for families that want to experience an authentic Door County vacation. Families can experience a simpler life, couples can reignite the flame, outdoor enthusiasts can hike, bike or kayak, gals that want girl time can shop til they drop, guys that love to boat, fish, and golf can, and for everyone else in between you'll feel at home while staying in your cottage on 3 acres in gorgeous Door County. The space Your cottage has everything you need to relax, unwind, and reconnect with family, friends, and even make new friends. Morning coffee (coffee maker and filters provided) is even more delicious while sitting on the front deck. Chilly nights are cozy while snuggled up next to the fire place. And meals cooked outside on the Weber charcoal grill at your cottage is even more delicious when enjoyed out on the picnic table. Your kitchen is fully stocked (cookware/dishes/serving ware/fridge/oven/microwave), towels are soft, beds are comfy, and of course your cottage is sparkling clean. Shady Rest South is a two bedroom (upstairs - 1 queen/2 twin) and full bath (upstairs) duplex cottage. Bedrooms are carpeted. The living space boasts laminate flooring, a cozy fire place, flat screen TV with Spectrum cable, boosted WiFi, and comfy furniture. This townhouse/cottage overlooks our community fire pit and children’s playground and shares a deck with the attached cottage. From your cottage you can enjoy a starry night. Walk two minutes to the Ephraim beach for some sand and a swim. Join the other guests in our surrounding cottages for stories, laughter and smores around the fire pit. Parking is near the cottage and can accommodate 1 vehicle. If you need to bring two cars or a car with a trailer, please disclose this immediately upon booking. Guest access The entire cottage is yours to enjoy. There are 9 other units on the property which are only accessible to the guests assigned to each cottage. The fire pit is available for use at any time of day/evening. Hammocks and yard games are available any time of the day. The children's playground is available from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Quiet time begins at 10:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 a.m. Other things to note You will want to bring the following items for your stay: 1. Charcoal and lighter fluid if you enjoy grilling (we may have some left over from guests) 2. Doggie bed, crate, bowls, towels for muddy feet and doggie duty bags. 3. Spices/Salt/Pepper as well as foil, plastic wrap, ziploc bags, and food storage containers. 4. Ice. Bags available for $5/each.
