The Indigo House - an artist's oasis

Welcome to The Indigo House, an artist's oasis in Oceanside. We designed this home to be a place to relax and tap into your creativity. It is a great space to spend time with family and friends. We have furnished the home with a mix of vintage and global pieces of furniture and decor. Our Beachy, Mid Century style home is close to the beach, great restaurants, lots family-friendly activities, several grocery stores, two libraries, and the post office. Located just 10 minutes to the beach and the historic Coast Highway 101, our Beachy, Mid Century style home is the perfect place to relax and tap into your creativity. You’ll find a mix of surf photography and artisan decor throughout our home. This large, 2,200 sqft. home features a fully remodeled kitchen with everything you need to create and enjoy a delicious meal. The living room is comfortably furnished with two vintage Bo Concepts sofas, a basket of blankets and lots of great books, making it a perfect spot to relax with friends or a good book. There's also a gas a fireplace to enjoy on the colder nights. The Indigo House has good WiFi coverage throughout the entire home and one TV. The Indigo House has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms for you and your group to relax and enjoy. All bedrooms are located upstairs. The primary bedroom has a king size bed, large closet, and full bathroom located in it, the two other bedrooms have queen size beds, and one room has two twin size beds. All bathrooms are stocked with all natural bath and body products. The laundry room is located downstairs and all natural liquid detergent is provided. One fun thing about staying here is that we have a small flock of friendly backyard chickens! 🐔 They are completely contained & are self sufficient during your stay. They have plenty of food and water, so there’s nothing you need to do for them. If you’d like, you’re welcome to open the wooden coop door and collect any fresh eggs they’ve laid each day. We hope you enjoy having them around as a little part of the experience. Please just be sure to close the coop door when you’re finished. Enjoy your stay! Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house including: all rooms, private back yard, Treager BBQ, laundry room, and front yard of property and driveway parking, the only area guests will not have access to is the garage and a locked pantry closet. Other things to note The home comfortable sleeps 8 utilizing the bedrooms, but can accommodate up to 10 using couches in the common areas. This home is intended for use by respectful, clean, mature people and not to be used as a party space. Since we are in a neighborhood with children present, noise levels must maintain a respectful level and lowered after 10 pm. The home has central heating but does not have air conditioning. This is typical for most homes in our area. Three of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and we have a box fan ready for your use if needed. The home gets a great crosswind breeze all year long when you open the windows. There is a Tesla charger available should you need it during your stay. This is a non smoking property. *Our cleaners clean per Covid-19 cleaning standards and guidelines. *We have a strict Cancellation policy.
