This place is famous for holy spring “Chashma Ayub”. It became an important regional pilgrimage Centre. Guest access AROUND NURATA ACTIVITIES • In Nurata town, a taxi who knows well the region can be hired for an 120km (round trip) excursion Dungalak Kazak (Nomad people) village in the desert Kizilkum after to Lake Aydar where you can go for a refreshing swim, bird watching or a picnic. • You can also take a nice 5 hours (round trip) trekking into Zulkarnayn village to admire Petroglyphs and holly tombs. (It is a very small village that dates back to the time of Alexander the Great). • In Nurata town, a taxi who knows well the region can be hired for an 80km (round trip). 2-hours trekking into the Chuya valley in the shadow of Mount Nurata Ak Tov Mountain.
