Its large modern kitchen, warm knotty pine and luxurious beds make it a great spot to curl up in, in any season. A short drive to the Pacific Ocean, Armstrong Woods, Wine Country, Gurneville, hiking and fishing spots and local events. Cable TV, Wi-Fi and Kayaks all included. Welcome to Rosie's! The space Bright and cheerful, clean and pristine home with a view that looks like a movie set. A cabin feel with all the modern conveniences, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, a Great Room and a large Quality Kitchen. Guests are continuously blown away by the beauty of the setting, and being only a few steps away from the river in the backyard. Snowy Egrets and Blue Herons are regular visitors. Stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter in this well-insulated house with central heat. Enjoy evenings with an indoor or outdoor fire, and the company of your travel companions! Backyard fire pit is a treat, under the shining stars, an out of city treat! The large gourmet kitchen features granite counters, Wolf range, Miele dishwasher, large refrigerator, and pergo floor in the large river view dining area. The large living room has knotty pine to show the traditional river home look, leather sofa, two recliners, nice 49' LCD tv, and a great river rock fireplace, light and comfortable. A California king bed is in the upstairs room, and the two ground floor bedrooms have great queen beds, two bedrooms have river views. There is a little kids cubby upstairs(near the king bed) is enchanting for young kids. We have high thread count sheets, and nice pillows. WIFI works great, bring your laptop. Central heat, new washer/dryer, central vacuum, all the features of a modern home with the great riverfront setting that nature provides. Large front yard and larger back yard with patio and lawn, river view deck, and nice steps down to the water. Gas BBQ, umbrella, table and chairs make the back patio the hang out spot. The river view deck is fun for kids and adults, seat swings and benches great for wildlife viewing. Kayaks are great for river play, the water is low and slow in the spring, summer, and fall, great for enjoyment. The lush flowers, green trees, birds, mountain and river views make you and feel as far away from the city as possible, yet only 90 minutes from SF. Easy to relax and enjoy for kids and grown kids. This is a vacation house, not a party house please, and no extra guests allowed. This is a strict policy, our neighbors are great and we want to maintain great relations with them. No camping, events, gatherings, or visitors without specific approval please. We use WiFi calling, works great! Verizon phones work, others maybe not..... Please call for last minute availability! thank you. Non Smoking in the house at any time please. The stars put on a spectacular show nightly, and they're all yours as well! Other things to note This place has been nurtured by generations of family gatherings, reunions, upkeep and good vibes. Our adult kids call it their favorite place on earth, but they're both off busy with college. Though there are countless places to visit nearby, most visitors find themselves not wanting to leave once they arrive. We love this place, cherish the special magic eveyone tells us it has, and enjoy sharing it when we're not able to be here. To say it's both child and adult friendly, is an understatement! Special interest groups including Birds, Fishing, Hiking, Naturalists and Botanists love this place because it's so rich in resources. Local eateries and wineries abound for the Foodies as well!
