This is the perfect home for a family, a couple, or people in town for a conference. Old Fourth Ward is in the center of Atlanta; right in the middle of Midtown and Inman Park, and access to a highway is a two minute drive. We are two miles from downtown, so you're very close to everything: Mercedes Benz Stadium, Georgia Wold Congress Center, CNN Center, the Aquarium, hotels, and World of Coca Cola. We are also only two miles from Zoo Atlanta in Grant Park. Walk to Krog Market (with many delicious restaurants), Ladybird, Steak, Chrome Yellow Coffee, Condesa Coffee, Parish, Lotta Frutta and much more! The house is completely private and a perfect place to come back to after a long day in the city. This comfortable home has all the necessary amenities anyone would need for the perfect stay in Atlanta. The place is fully furnished and includes high-speed wireless internet, internet TV, full kitchen, two bedrooms downstairs, and a cozy master bedroom upstairs. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and a full bath. One bedroom has a twin bed and the guest room has a daybed w/ trundle and can sleep two people. The guest room room also doubles as a play room. If you have kids, this is the perfect place for you. Upstairs is the master bedroom, sitting area, and full bath. The bath has been recently renovated. There's a wonderful front porch with a swing and a small back patio with two seating areas. I love our neighborhood and would love to suggest restaurants and places to go in the Old Fourth Ward and all around Atlanta. Please note, highs in 90s and 100s in June, left many folks in Atlanta with A.C. units that were scrambling to keep up. We have two A.C. units, upstairs and downstairs. When temperatures reach high 90s and 100s, the upstairs unit takes a bit longer to cool the space, but it does work once the space cools down! Check in is 3 p.m. or later, check out is 11 a.m. or earlier. Guest access Full access to all parts of the house. - Please note, this is our primary home and residence! There will be toys in the kids rooms and we'll have food in the pantry. Of course, you are welcome to drink and eat whatever is in the house. - Please close and lock all doors when you leave the house - after all, you are in the middle of the city. Please, no candles. - Consider this a peaceful retreat (besides the typical city noises outside!) There are no parties or large gatherings allowed. Please be respectful of our home and our neighbors. Other things to note Our TV is an internet, Roku TV, and comes with Amazon, HBO, Netflix, PBS, and a host of other apps. We do not have extended cable. Also, please note, we offer on-street parking. We have two cars and have never had a problem finding a spot on the street. But, if you come home really late, you may have to park further up the street.
