The space A peaceful & private resort-like experience with 112 feet of waterfront awaits you on Lake Sawyer in Black Diamond. Enjoy your morning coffee in one of the many sitting areas on this beautifully landscaped property - reclining in one of the adirondack chairs on the private dock, lakeside near the fire table, in the swinging chair built for two, or the outdoor dining area under the covered deck, it's the perfect way to start your day. Lakeside mornings are generally quite due to set boating hours that don't allow early morning waterskiing or jet skiing. The lake comes alive in the summer with power boats & jet skis during ski times; swimmers, paddleboarders, and fishermen enjoy the remainder of the time. Speed boat hours vary by day: M-F 2pm-7pm, Sat-Sun & holidays 11am-3pm. Our guests may explore the lake, and may be rewarded with spectacular views of Mt Rainier, and year round wild life such as turtles, otters, herons, and resident bald eagles. Nearby trails are minutes away and perfect for walking, hiking, & mountain biking. Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway, early morning flat water for distance swimming or paddle boarding, or exceptional mountain biking trails, Lake Sawyer in Black Diamond offers all of this and more! The lower level of house features guest accommodations with two private bedrooms, bathroom w/shower, breakfast nook w/cafe table / work space, and living room / tv room. Breakfast nook stocked with coffee, tea, and bottled water. Cozy winter evenings can be spent inside by the wood fireplace, watching TV/Netflix or playing board games. For stays longer than two weeks, use of upstairs kitchen may be negotiated. Please note guest accommodations do not have kitchen. For longer stays, use of washer/dryer may be negotiated as well. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all the waterfront property. Waterfront is shared with owners who live in the upstairs portion of the house. Guests have a private entry around the waterfront side of the house, key code will be provided upon confirmed reservation. The upstairs portion of the house is separated by an interior staircase/locking door. We ask that all guests follow appropriate water front safety guidelines at all times. Other things to note No pets. Our own dog & cat like all the attention for themselves. No children - Accommodations and grounds are not childproof. No smoking: Ours is a nonsmoking/no vaping household. We ask that guests respect this. Stairs: Pathway to guest accommodations has 6 steps down. There are an additional 6 steps down to the dock. Waterfront is shared space with the homeowners who live on site full time; we may be enjoying the water at the same time as you. Please take shoes off at the door. Parking: Plenty of free street parking approximately 50 ft north. Our friendly dog & cat roam like they own the place; guests may want to keep their doors closed so the don't have unintended visits from our cat and/or dog!
