A delightful and convenient 2 bedroom guest suite with private bathroom and living room. 2 minute drive to MONA, 2 minute walk to supermarket and shopping centre and local restaurants. Bus stop 10 metres away with express bus to Hobart city centre (12km / 8 miles). Self check in with lock box. Views across the river Derwent and lovely waterfront walks close by. Off road parking and a private deck to enjoy the sun. Come and enjoy the beautiful garden and the birds that come to the bird table. The space Please note: We have 2 small dogs. The living room attached to the guest suite is a shared space and used by the owners to reach the garden with their dogs and access the driveway. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly. We do have limited wheelchair access. The guest suite has a wheelchair access ramp and there is a wet room that easily accommodates a wheelchair. There are no steps or stairs within the guest suite. Please contact us to see if the guest suite meets your special needs. Our home and guest suite are smoke free and there is no smoking on the premises. Bring your iPad or laptop: you can access HDMI for both with our WiFi accessories and there is a docking station for all your mobile tech needs. There is a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink. Tea and coffee provided. There are no cooking facilities but there is space to prepare a salad / sandwich or heat food in the microwave. There are plenty of food vendors in the shopping centre across the road or around Claremont. Guest access The guest suite has 2 bedrooms, one with queen bed and walk in wardrobe, the other bedroom has 2 single beds. We only host 1 group at a time, so if you just need 1 room, you won't be sharing the guest suite with others. The initial price is for the use of 1 bedroom. Extra charge for use of the other bedroom. There is a private bathroom, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink. Guests are welcome to use the adjacent living room or sit out on the deck. You are welcome to bring your vehicle up to the guest door. During your stay This is our home so we will be around most of the time. We hope you will feel at home here too. Please feel free to ask us any questions you have about Hobart and its attractions and about Tasmania in general. We understand if you want your own quiet space. Equally, we enjoy sharing time with our guests as well!
