Description
Bright airy atmosphere with great natural light, a conveniently shared bathroom with all the items you need. Located in the Belair-Parkside neighborhood, this room is a great choice for your Baltimore stay. Friendly note, there may be other guests staying in my second room, which can add to the social aspect of your experience. Perfect for couples or friends traveling together. My other listing: Belair-Parkside Urban Getaway II The space Look for the blue door! :) Don't forget to say "hello" to the neighbors who might be enjoying socializing on their front porches and watching their children play! It's a lively community. This home was previously designed for residential assisted living, giving it a distinct charm. As you enter through the front door, you'll find a cozy living room with a convenient shoe storage bench (remember to bring your slippers!). The staircase ahead leads upstairs to your room, ensuring privacy and comfort. The living room seamlessly connects to the dining area, and the kitchen is just around the corner. **Please note that although my friendly cat is not allowed in the guest room, you may catch a glimpse of him occasionally (or maybe not!). Important Note: Due to a misunderstanding by a previous guest, please know that this isn't a private place, it's likely that I will be there. But, because I appreciate privacy and know others do as well, I mostly stay in my space and you may see me in passing. If you're a social person, I'll pick up on those cues and be social as well. Guest access Guests have full access to their private room during their stay. Additionally, they are welcome to utilize the shared spaces, including the living room, dining area, and kitchen as needed. We provide a variety of snacks and continental breakfast options, along with coffee and tea, which are conveniently set up for guests to enjoy. During your stay Regarding our interaction, it will depend on our respective schedules. During the week, I have a 12-hour workday and leave the house around 6 am, returning late in the day. However, on weekends, there is a possibility of our crossing paths. Please keep in mind that I typically wake up at 5 am. I doubt you'll be disturbed though. Other things to note Feel free to make use of the backyard during your stay. Relax and unwind in the colorful seating area, and perhaps even enjoy a meal outdoors if you wish.
