From the living room windows you can enjoy a fantastic view of the river: Latschach near Velden is right on the Drava. On the first floor, there is a covered patio for your own use. As a host, we'll be there immediately if you wish. We live in the house next door. The town center of Velden and Lake Wörthersee can be reached in 3-4 minutes by car. There is 1 bedroom with a large double bed (lying area 2 m x 2 m). The shower room is not large, but newly renovated and has a window. In the adjacent living-dining room there is a new fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, egg cooker, etc.), so that you don't have to do without anything on vacation. 2 more adults or children can sleep on the comfortable sofas. (The lying surface is about 80 cm by 2 m each. I can prepare these as single beds or as a double bed for you. The round dining table is large enough for 4 people. A highchair can easily be accommodated. A TV is available and receives with approx. 40 channels, all popular programs. There is fast Wi-Fi. The living room goes out to the front of the street and offers a beautiful view of the river. The bedroom faces the edge of the forest and is very quiet. The apartment has sloping ceilings, as shown in the photos. Pets are welcome. Our garden is 1100 square meters and fenced. Smoking inside the apartment is strictly not permitted. Outside, ashtrays are of course available for smokers. Guest access A parking space for you is located in the courtyard right in front of the property. Additional parking is available directly on the roadside outside the property. Via the garden behind the house you can reach a viewing platform - directly at the edge of the forest - with garden furniture and spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks Mittagskogel (2145 m), Dobratsch (2166 m) & Gerlitzen (1909 m) and of course the Drava River. This observation deck may be used at any time. In the garden you can also slide, climb and swing to your heart's content. An ingenious swing right on the observation deck taught me one thing: adults swing far too little. It's high time to change that. When was the last time you swung really high? Other things to note If you want to come to us with small children, we as a family are of course very happy: For families with small children, a high chair, children's dishes & children's cutlery are available. Please let us know if we can provide a crib and if the bedroom or living room is preferred as a location. We know full trunks on family vacations only too well. That's why we're happy to contact you in advance: By arrangement, we can provide a Maxi Cosi stroller (with carrycot or sports seat) for walks or a backpack for hiking, so that your trunk isn't bursting at the seams. A Bobby Car, potty or toilet seat for the little ones are also no problem. Just write to us what would make it easier for you to travel with (small) children, and we will try to support you in the best possible way.
