Spot on for exploring the northern nature and enjoying the northern light during the winter, and the midnightsun in the summer. You can actually lie in the bed and see the spellbinding northern lights dance across the sky during the polar nights. The house is situated by the National Turist Road at Senja. The space Steinfjord is a small village on the rough northern coast of Senja. Surrunded by spectacular mountains and the sea. The house is close to several famous viewpoints. Such as Tungeneset and Bergsbotn. A beautyful beach is just a walk away. Great scenery all year around in all kinds of weather. Skaland is the nearest village with grocery store, restaurant, gas station and a small pub. Skaland is about 3 kilometers from Steinfjorden. It takes approximately three hours to drive from Tromsø to Steinfjorden. A long part of the road to Senja, is the official Northern Lights Route, so it is often a spectacular drive during the dark season. It is aslo approximately three hours drive from Harstad/Evenes. Both ways will give you stunning scenery. There are no problem driving during the winter season. The roads are well prepared day and night, and the rental cars are well equipped. Guest access The house has a garden with a bonfire place in the center. Outdoor furniture in the basement. There is also a bike for use if wanted. The property has a smal private beach in front of the house. There is a fishingcamp, Camp Steinfjord, who provide fishing activities, and boat rentals. Bedlinen and towels are included. Some basic kitchen supplies can be used. Such as coffe, tea, salt, pepper, sugar etc. Other things to note Make sure you get groceries on the way since the location at the house is a kind of remote. Note that most of the grocery stores are closed on sundays.
