The Little Cressonnières Cottage

Ideally located in the heart of the village of Veules-les-Roses, 5 minutes' walk to the beach, the Petit Chalet can accommodate 4 people. The ground floor consists of an entrance and a kitchen. Upstairs you will find a TV room, a bathroom with shower and toilet and two bedrooms: one with double bed and office space, and a small children's room with a bunk bed. The bench in the TV room can be used as an extra bed. Baby cot on request. The space The Petit Chalet is the outbuilding of the main house. The entrance is independent, through the garden. The first bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed (160 x 200). The second bedroom, smaller, has a bunk bed. A baby crib is also available upon request. The kitchen, on the ground floor, is equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic stovetop, Nespresso coffee machine (capsules not included), kettle, oven, toaster, and large fridge-freezer. The table can accommodate 4 people for meals and the kitchen overlooks the Veules. A small table for coffee while watching the trout is at your disposal on a small outdoor overhang by the water (1 or 2 people) (Attention, please note: the outdoor space on the Veules side is not suitable for young children. The French window overlooking the Veules can be locked to secure access). You can walk to the beach (700 meters from the house) by taking a nice pedestrian and wooded path, the famous 'Champs Elysées' of Veules. On the waterfront, fishermen sell their morning catches, as well as the delicious oysters of Veules-les-Roses. If the weather is nice, take the time to eat a waffle while watching your children play on the playground facing the sea. And for the more athletic, the Veules nautical club offers many activities (paddle, catamaran, kayak etc.) starting in June. In Veules, you will also find shops, art galleries and restaurants, as well as a cinema and tennis, all 5 minutes' walk from the house. Also note: the Petit Chalet bears this name in reference to the main house which is called the Chalet des Cressonnières, and not to the decoration of a mountain chalet :) Guest access Le Petit Chalet and the garden Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. For parking there are several free parking lots in the village The town hall one is 150 m away and has two charging stations for electric vehicles (for a fee) and the cliffs one is 750 m away Once the car is parked you can do anything on foot from the house! the nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive (Leclerc center in Saint Valéry) otherwise the village grocery store is well equipped the village is a very quiet village, no parties will be tolerated, and after 9pm, please be quiet in the garden.
