Black Beech House with luxury cedar outdoor bath.

Black Beech House is newly built and nestled amongst Beech trees with outstanding lake, mountain and night sky views. We have created a truly welcoming and comfortable home for guests wanting to visit the beautiful village of Lake Tekapo for its world famous night skies and the outstanding lake and mountain views. At Black Beech house we have the prefect setting with a cedar and stainless steel outdoor bath which comfortably fits two people so you can lie back and soak up the glorious night sky. Being surrounded by Beech trees allows you to feel like you are in your own forest, especially at the bedroom end where you will look out to establised Black Beech trees. You may struggle to want to get out of bed in the morning after a soak in the cedar and stainless steel bath in the evening and then a comfortable nights sleep. In our lounge we have a very comfortable leather couch which was essential for all our weary travellers and a good sized kitchen with all the amenities needed. You have your own garden at the front of the property and this area is particularly good as a platform to get those photos of the lake, the mountains and the incredible night sky. As you will see from our other property reviews from the “The Black House” which is next door to the Black Beech House, we absolutely love helping and welcoming people to share in our story and creation of a quality and homely place to stay and we take great pride in being a superhost. The neighbourhood is a peaceful and safe area. There are beautiful views to the mountains and lake. The area is quiet and the night sky is stunning. The Black Beech House is close to the centre of town and a short drive to the Tekapo Springs Hot Springs. Outdoor Ice Skating is also available in the winter months. This is a very special home with the addition of the outdoor cedar and stainless steel bath to enhance the experience of the tekapo night skies. The views are wonderful and it is a great spot to take superior night sky photographs. There is very little spill over light coming on to the property. The two night sky photos included in our photo list were recently taken on the property by one of our guests.
