We are located just a few miles north of Hopland. Across the 101 are the Nelson and McNab Vineyards. To the north about 10 minutes are Ukiah, Lake Mendocino, and the City of 10,000 Buddhas. Low Gap Park has an 18 hole disc golf course and an archery range as well as beautiful hiking trails. Other popular spots nearby are Orr Hot Springs. and Montgomery Woods. The quaint town of Mendocino on the coast is a little over an hour to the West. Plenty of designated parking right outside the studio I am usually here to help guests with anything they may need or will be available by phone, text or email. If I am not here an experienced pet/ house sitter will be your host. All the homes here are on an acre or more. Some neighbors have chickens and or goats. Beautiful mountain and valley views in all directions. Most of the time it is very quiet and serene. Because there are no streetlights the stargazing here is unbelievable. Guests often see satellites and the space station crossing the night sky. The Milky Way can often be seen right above as a heavenly highway. The nearest airport is Santa Rosa. It is best to have transportation as there are no bus stops nearby and Uber/Lyft are rare. The suite is the entire downstairs of the house, king size bed, large bathroom with walk in shower, 2 sinks and a small sitting area with a Smart TV and wood burning stove. Beautiful views from every window. Check in is after 2 p.m. and check out 11 a.m. This is flexible if there are no guests booked before or after your visit. Let us know if need be. My three small dogs do not have access to the suite downstairs. You will only encounter them if you are upstairs to do laundry. Please let me know if you have any concerns. Most guests leave their room in the condition they found it which I appreciate. At least please remove all trash beyond what fits in the small waste paper baskets provided.
