Uphill Historic Lincoln is 5-10min. walk : Cathedral, Castle, Bailgate, famous Steep Hill shops, cafes & restaurants are all located within close proximity to venture to on foot. Over 3 floors, The Little House sleeps 2. After exploring the city, the house is laid out to ensure space and calm. A lounge tucked in the attic, dressing room, walk in wardrobe and boutique shower room makes this mid-terrace spacious for 2, yet welcoming. A private garden with snug is open in the spring/summer The space The house is spread out over 3 floors with the ground floor being dedicated to greeting, cooking and eating. The dining room is straight in the front door from the street, has a small terrestrial TV to catch the morning news and storage space for coats on the coat stand. A fully equipped kitchen leads off the dining room including fridge and freezer. There is a narrow staircase to the first floor. The first floor bedroom has a feature fireplace and walk in wardrobe cupboard; with a separate dressing room across the landing with hairdryer and full length mirror and then the shower room across the landing. The next ( quite steep ) flight of stairs takes you up to the living room tucked into the eaves of the attic. Close off from the outside in this cosy space with a sofa, armchairs, reading snug and smart TV with Netflix. Wifi reaches across the whole house. The entrance comes straight from the pavement and the road can be noisy for the hospital BUT the location is great for the historic beauty of uphill Lincoln. Please note the house is laid out to provide quiet and calm as we do front onto the street/road which can get busy, if you’re sat in all day you’ll notice it but if you take advantage of everything in walking distance, then hopefully you’ll relax up in the loft at night. ☺️When the weather gets sunnier, I spruce up the garden and it is a private sun trap with sheltered snug and Cathedral view. Guest access You can let yourselves in and enjoy the space without interruption. Enjoy free wifi, smart Tv with Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, oven and hob. A shower room on the first floor opposite the bedroom with king sized bed. A cafetiere coffee, tea, milk and sugar are there for your convenience. There is free street parking 50m away (very limited) or a 24 hour pay and display 400m round the corner. The house is on a main road with kerbside parking available outside of the red route hours. These are free to park outside after 8pm and before 7am and on Sundays and Bank Holidays all day. Best to bump up the kerb and put your wing mirrors in. Other things to note I offer discount for weekly bookings starting on any day of the week. Due to having 2 busy children and running another business, I now only take a minimum of 2 nights for bookings at the weekends. However if the diary is free and I have the time, there may be some 1 night options to take advantage of. The Little House is actually a 2 bedroomed house but I have set it out for 2 guests with one bedroom to make it more spacious and keep up the cleanliness and condition. By doing so, you gain a lovely entrance room that can be used for dining or reading without encroaching on the kitchen space. Plus you get a dressing room and walk in wardrobe all to your self. Rather than squeezing in that extra bedroom in the converted loft room, instead you get to enjoy relaxing in the lounge away from the rest of the house. I'm super proud of it's quirks and nooks and crannies. I've hopefully created a welcoming space that feels like it has personal home touches. Sorry but no children or pets.
