Spacious holiday apartment with pool next to beach

Our holiday home is nested in a gorgeous private villa. It is situated on the edge of an authentic fishing village, less than 100 meters away from one of Zanzibar's most beautiful palm fringed beaches. The apartment is surrounded by a lush tropical garden and comes with a private pool. The perfect spot for self-catering families and groups of friends. A true home with 24 hours security, power backup, fresh water showers and free drinking water. We also help in organizing island tours. The space The apartment offers with its 140m2 space, a breezy living area that is surrounded by two thatch roofed garden terraces with comfy hammocks and sofas, a fully equipped open space kitchen, 2 large bedrooms (with tailor made king size and single beds) and 2 bathrooms. The apartment sleeps up to 6 people. The apartment is ideal for families with children, couples and groups of friends that want to enjoy a private beach holiday with all the amenities that a home would offer. The flat is surrounded by a gated tropical garden, on a 3000 m2 private property and offers 24 hours security. A private pool is available on the property and guest have access to a semi-private beach area. The apartment is serviced twice a week and towels and linen are provided. Also, drinking water is included in the price. The apartment is self-catered and it would be best to bring groceries from town, since we have limited shopping options in Pongwe. However, we offer free shopping trips to the neighboring village Kiwengwa where one can find pretty much everything. Furthermore, there are a couple of very nice beach restaurants in walking distance from the house to eat out. Guest access Guests have access to the entire premises Guests have access to the pool and semi-private beach area Other things to note Our serene location requires to look after the environment. Water is a precious resource that we need to buy by truck and bring to the house. Electricity is a privilege in this part of the island. Our guests need to respect and understand this and help us to protect this beautiful island. We are living in nature, hence monkeys and bush babies come occasionally to the house. Please, be advised to not leave food, shoes, clothes and other belongings on the terrace unattended. It might be snatched and we will not refund for losses. Also, keep in mind that Zanzibar is pretty much a cash society. The closest ATM is in Stonetown. Cards are not widely accepted!
