Wildflower Hideaway - Jedediah Smith Redwoods

This cozy little getaway is perfectly comfortable for your next visit to the redwoods or to check out the ocean. The Wildflower Hideaway is a retreat that’s tucked away from the stressors of your day-to-day. You’ll relax, unwind, and enjoy this space that’s all your own. Peacock River Bar is a short walk, bike, or car ride away. Enjoy the warm, sunny Hiouchi area on your vacation! The space This space is located close to Peacock Bar on the Smith River which is a fun swimming area and easy biking from the house. We are off of HWY 197 which is between highway 199 and highway 101. Directly across the street, from the main house, is the Del Norte Golf Course which has a large open field where deer and Rosevelt Elk sometimes graze in the early morning. The guesthouse is set back from the main house about 100 feet and has a separate enclosed backyard and driveway. Wheelchairs are welcome, there are no steps, the walkway has a gradual slope leading up the the doorway and it is all one level inside. Living quarters: The master has a four poster King bed and a very large closet. The living room and kitchen are one space with an island that has seating for two. The bathroom is located down the hall leading to the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. This room does NOT have a door.
