Welcome to THE OSTIE! This space is over 5.000 sf and was the former local Artist Studio & Loft located in Downtown Omaha. What looks like a century-old commercial storefront from the outside, step inside The Ostie and it's a converted, spacious home in the heart of Downtown Omaha (walking distance to CHI Health Center and Charles Schwab Field). It's the perfect place to relax, read, explore the art or host your friend and family. Welcome to Omaha and The Ostie! The space The Ostie has over 5,000 sq. feet on main level with 5 bedrooms and a large living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with a claw foot tub. The main floor bedroom has 2 twin beds (sleeps 2) Bonus??? Open the secret door to the loft bedroom with a queen air mattress (sleeps 2). Step into the bonus "gather room" that has a ping pong table, sitting area and Art from a local legendary artist and a wide open space for hosting/yoga/reading etc. Want some fresh air? An enclosed, private outdoor space off the back of the building is perfect for BBQs and socializing. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and one large bathroom with plenty of room to spread out and sleep. The first room has 2 twin beds (sleeps 2), one queen room (sleeps 2) overlooking the gather room and one King room (sleeps 2). Step into The Ostie and be blow away! *****Events are allowed within reason. Please inquire with the host prior to booking. We’d be a perfect fit for your office party, baby shower, girls’ getaway, or family reunion. ***There are cameras in the patio and front door of the space to monitor the building. Guest access You will get a code to get into the building and will have exclusive use of the entire space. THIS IS A DOWNTOWN LOCATION. NO PARKING ON-SITE. Parking is on the street in front of house, the parking rate will increase hourly beginning after two hours, with a max daily price of $29. Most days it should be 50 cents an hour. Uber is available in the city and there are also city bus stops within a block of our building. Event rates are activated during major events, like CWS, in areas near the event to encourage on-street parking turnover. An event rate means the flat hourly rate will be higher, but the rate will not progressively increase each hour. Other things to note -We can host events there but please inquire first. The gather room includes: tables and chairs for about 20 people, extra refrigerator, lots of coolers and much more. - NO PETS ALLOWED -NO SMOKING/ VAPING ETC. We have an outdoor patio where you can smoke but that is the only place you can smoke. - Do not touch any of the art in the space. Pieces are delicate.
