ME Villa is your peaceful home in Gurubebila, just 10 min from the beach, surf spots, and paddy fields. This twin deluxe first-floor pool-view room has a large terrace, AC and fan, solar-heated bathroom, and 2 queen canopy beds with mosquito net. During your stay, you’ll be part of an intimate yoga retreat, see Important Things to Note for all details. The space The villa is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the village of Gurubebila, surrounded by local homes and guesthouses. This is not an isolated or resort-style property, but a place where you can experience everyday life in Sri Lanka while still being within walking distance of the beach, surf spots, and nearby cafés. The property offers a private space to unwind, with a tropical garden and a swimming pool. The villa has 4 bedrooms and will be shared with max 11 people. All rooms come with air conditioning and ceiling fans, (non- seperarable) queensize canopy beds with mosquito nets, high-quality spring mattresses, universal power outlets, plenty of closet space, and private bathrooms with solar-heated showers. Fiber Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. While generally stable, please note that internet speeds and connectivity in Sri Lanka can occasionally vary. Guest access Guests will have full access to the common spaces of the villa and the garden with pool , to be shared with the guests of the other rooms. You will receive your own key. There is ample parking space in the driveway for a car or van, and several motorbikes. Getting around is easy—many local and tourist restaurants, as well as the beach, are within walking distance. Motorbikes can be rented just down the street, and both tuk-tuk and bus stops are within a 5-minute walk, just on the main road. To get into Weligma town you should count around a 15 minutes drive by moterbike, tuktuk or bus. During your stay I, Elke, the owner and retreat host, am personally on site during your stay to welcome you, guide the retreat, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
