Escape to the tranquility of our peaceful apartment located in the heart of the medieval town of Anghiari. Nestled in a quiet street, steps away from the town square, our home offers a retreat for any time of the year. With views of the surrounding valley and two wood burning stoves, it’s a great base for exploring the surrounding area or just to snuggle up with a book in front of the fire. This is a real home; ideal for those looking for an authentic and unique experience. The space The entrance to our home is on the ground level, giving you easy access to the street and neighborhood. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom has a pull out couch (1.5 places) which is acceptable for either one person or two children. (Or two adults who don’t mind staying cozy :)) The sofa bed is quite low, so those with mobility challenges should take this into consideration. When booking as two people please let us know in advance if you will be using the sofa bed so that we can prepare it for you. Take note that the quickest way to the kitchen passes through the second bedroom. This can be avoided entirely, however, by using the external doors. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment and tableware. There is a large oven with a 5 range stovetop. The wood burning stove can be used for cooking as well. The living room is bright and sunny and has a view of the valley, a desk for working, and a wood burning stove. There is plenty of free parking nearby, Including a parking lot with elevator access to the town. Our home is real, which also means it is not perfect. We have added many of the amenities guests might expect, while aiming to keep it authentic and unique. This is generally more than enough to keep the apartment warm and comfortable in winter. ✅ Usage within the allowance is fully included in your stay. 🔄 If usage exceeds this limit, the difference will be billed at €1.50 per Smc via Airbnb’s resolution process after checkout. 📊 Meter readings are taken together at check-in and check-out for transparency.
