The space The house is a large Victorian villa with high ceilings and space. It has been very carefully renovated and has many period features with antique fireplaces, doors, stripped floor boards ...... it has an artistic personality, with paintings and antiques. The house was built in approximately 1860. At this time it had 14 bedrooms, servants quarters etc. Sometime after its construction it was used as a "First class Ladies school". In later Victorian times the house was divided into 2 halves, my home is one of these halves. The house has been furnished and decorated to a high standard. The house is perfectly clean. We ask guests to take off their shoes as they enter the house. There is fast WiFi throughout the house. Upto 3 bedrooms are available. A booking for 2 guests will allow access to 1 bedroom and all communal spaces. A booking for 3 or 4 guests will allow access to 2 bedrooms and communal spaces etc Please be aware that the property is our day to day home with our possessions. We only accept reservations where the guest booking will be the guest staying. When you book the property please understand that it is for the exclusive use of the number of guests specified in the booking.
