Castle Thornhill Suite. Wilton Castle, Ireland.

Wilton Castle can trace its history back to 1247 when the DeDene family lived here. Over the centuries the castle was transformed and remodelled by various esteemed families to include the Butlers, Furlongs, Thornhills and the Alcocks. The present design was created by renowned architect Danial Robertson for the Alcock family in the 1830s. The Castle was ruined by fire in 1923. It lay in ruins until a large wing of the castle was restored in 2015 to welcome guests from all over the world. The space Wilton Castle is located in the heart of County Wexford just a few minutes drive from the historic town of Enniscorthy. Wilton is ideally located for touring the east and south of Ireland with many of the top attractions within a one hour drive of the castle.
