Description
Whisk your loved one away to our romantic 1915 farmhouse in the rolling hills of North Carolina, just minutes from enchanting wedding venues. Perfect for honeymooners or couples craving a slower pace. Sip coffee on the porch swing, watch sunsets over wide fields, and soak in the clawfoot tub. Full of antique charm, squeaky screen doors, and vintage warmth; every corner tells a story. The space What You’ll Love: Charming Queen Bedroom with freshly laundered sheets, ready to welcome you at the end of the day. Vintage-Inspired Kitchen—like one your grandmother might have had—complete with stove/oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishes, pots, and pans. Enchanting Bathroom with a walk-in shower and clawfoot soaking tub, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine after a day of celebration. Spacious Front Porch with swing seating for lingering conversations, countryside views, and magical sunsets. We believe in keeping life simple here; no TV, but WiFi is available if you need it. Our home is over a century old and has its own personality: warmer in summer, cooler in winter, and brimming with charm. Think of it as indoor glamping with a romantic twist. Whether you’re here for a wedding, a honeymoon, or just to steal away for a quiet weekend, this little farmhouse is the perfect backdrop for making memories. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire farmhouse, including the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living area, and front porch with its swing—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful countryside. Please note, there is a treatment room in the house that is generally not in use while guests are staying. You won’t be disturbed, as facials or treatments are rarely scheduled during guest visits. Parking is available on-site for your convenience. Other things to note Our farmhouse sits in the heart of beautiful North Carolina farm country. With that comes the occasional friendly visitor; ladybugs, moths, gnats, bees, and once in a while, a curious lizard. It’s all part of the charm of country living. Think glamping, but in the comfort of a cozy 100-year-old home. We’re on a deep natural well that provides fresh water straight from hundreds of feet below the surface. It’s been tested and meets North Carolina water quality standards. Occasionally, if the house hasn’t been used for a few days, the first hot water you run may have a slight sulfur scent or light tint—completely harmless and common with well water. Some guests prefer bottled water for drinking, and you’re welcome to do the same.
