Walking distance to beautiful North & South Walkerville beaches, with country views, this property is a perfect weekend getaway or longer break. Enjoy being just minutes from stunning beaches, bush walks and wildlife spotting in the neighbourhood and all throughout the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park. There are galleries, potteries, cafes and pubs in popular Fish Creek, Meeniyan and Foster each being only 20 -30 minutes away. Take a day trip to the stunning Wilson’s Promontory, just 30 minutes to the gate. Or pay a visit to the local cidery or wineries. This cosy retro styled three-bedroom house has a comfortable open plan living/dining & kitchen with a woodheater (firewood is provided during the winter months). A smart TV enables you to connect to your own streaming accounts. With a large variety of books and magazines you are sure to find something that will capture your interest. Fast wifi (Starlink) is available along with a clutter free space to work from home if you should need to. The kitchen is equiped with quality tableware & cookware as well as a view out to the beautiful farmland at the rear of the property. The beds are comfortable with quality mattresses, bedding & linen. Kids are catered for with books, board games and toys. Bath towels are provided along with hand/body wash & a hairdryer. There is a large backyard with a picnic table, bbq, outdoor seating throughout the garden and fire pit. The house is a perfect getaway for couples, a small group of friends or a family. COMING SOON - expected late August Grevillia Rest will be home to a small beehive set up in the backyard on the fence line, a long way from the house. Bees are not a threat to people & only likely to sting if they are interfered with. We look forward to sharing delicious fresh honey with our guests when it becomes available. Guest access The whole house and backyard is available. There is undercover parking for 2 cars at the front of the property. The house is accessed by a couple of steps at both the front & rear. Other things to note The kitchen is stocked with basic pantry items such as herbs & spices, olive oil, tomato sauce, flour, rice, oats, as well as coffee (both fresh & instant), tea (black & herbal) & sugar. The closest supermarkets are either in Tarwin Lower or Meeniyan. In addition to the woodheater, there are electric heaters in the bedrooms as well as fans & a split system heater/aircon for your year round comfort.
