The space Guests have access to the entire multilevel lakeside cottage. We have created a serene space designed for ultimate tranquility and comfort. Enjoy breathtaking views at this Doe Lake retreat, where you can unwind on the spacious back deck or dock and swim in the lake or our private saltwater pool open seasonally from June to Sept 01. Relax at our cozy lake-house and soak in ultimate serenity in our hot tub under the stars. In the heart of our retreat is our fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining area, perfect for family meals and gatherings. Enjoy family evenings and mornings in our open concept great room complete with large windows that offer panoramic waterfront views from every angle including the loft above. Discover added comfort in our upper-level suite, complete with a private entrance, a cozy TV/rec room, and a spacious bedroom featuring two queen beds. This dedicated teen and pre-teen haven is a guest favourite at our family-focused Doe Lake retreat. The cottage accommodates up to 10 guests when this suite is included. Please note that an additional fee of $60 per guest applies after 7 guests for the add on of this room. The charming Doe Lakehouse offers 3 comfortable bedrooms in the main house and a cozy atmosphere during every season. Our loft master suite offers stunning lake views featuring ample space to unwind and connect with nature. In summer months our guests have access to 1 kayaks and 1 canoe plus 4 adult life jackets for exploring beautiful Doe Lake! There is a spacious deck, a large patio (propane heater will be provided in cold months), a BBQ, and a lakeside fire pit for outdoor entertaining. We offer a large spacious 3 door garage for your recreational vehicle storage (i.e. Snowmobiles, ATV's) This property's lake view is north facing. Guests are on the waterfront and can relax on the dock. There is a public boat launch 1min from the cottage just up the road from the property. The lakefront is not sandy, however, a lake walk in is possible - bring your water shoes as we do have our beautiful marsh so our natural ecosystem stays green. There is also a quiet sandy public beach within walking distance from the cabin where you can swim. Other things to note: - There is absolutely no smoking in the cottage, if you choose to smoke you are permitted to outside, please ensure there are no butts on the ground. - Our outdoor fire pit offers cozy & vast nighttime star gazing views in the comfort of Muskoka style chairs. Other things to note The wifi in the property is usually 25 Mbps download. Our cottage features 3 levels. Our main house includes: THE MAIN FLOOR 1 Twin Upper Bunk Bed 1 Double Lower Bunk Bed 1 Queen Beds 1 Full bathroom with a jet jacuzzi tub THE SECOND FLOOR Open Concept Loft with a full Ensuite bathroom. 1 Queen Bed UPPER LEVEL LAKEVIEW SUITE Features a separate entrance, complete with a built in TV/Rec Room. This is a popular option for hosting teens and preteens as well as retreats. 2 Queen Beds Bathrooms are located in the main house. There are cameras located on the front and back of the property that does record video. Video footage will only be viewed if there are any issues (complaints from neighbors, property damage, or missing items). CLEANING: Please leave our house clean and tidy as you found it for an easier turnaround of guests. If our cleaners need to spend extra time post check out the balance of all cleaning costs will be forwarded to the guest. We often have same day turn overs. Our spacious garage can be used for recreational vehicle storage such as snowmobiles and ATV's. RULES TO AGREE UPON ONCE RENTING THE COTTAGE: 1. QUIET HOURS It is a family cottage, so NO PARTYING AT ANY POINT! (**if you choose to break this rule, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund**) Please respect the neighbors and keep noise/music levels at a minimum past 9 PM 2. SMOKING No smoking inside the cottage (if you choose to smoke outside, please do not leave the butts on the ground - $250 fee for butts found on the property post check out) 3.WATER TOYS/SPORTS Please note all water sports and activities are to be used at your own risk. There will be various lifejackets to use, however, it is mandatory that anyone who uses the watercraft must wear a lifejacket. It is encouraged to bring your own to guarantee a lifejacket will fit. 4.OUTDOOR GUIDELINES If the outside patio furniture or chairs are moved throughout the day, please put everything back where they belong by the end of the day. This is to ensure that none of the furniture is picked up by the water current or changes in active weather. The lake is swimmable, but you'll need to canoe out to deeper water. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. 5. HOT TUB Information Please shower & remove any lotion before getting into Hot Tub Please NO Glassware near Hot Tub Always close cover when not in use. Please TOP UP water after EACH Use 6. POOL INFORMATION: The pool is seasonal, so please confirm availability before booking. It is generally open the first week of June. - As the pool is outdoors, you may encounter minor debris or bugs, which should be removed before use. POOL SAFETY WARNING: The pool’s deepest point is 7 feet. Please exercise caution and closely supervise children at all times. Guests are solely responsible for any incidents, including injuries or drowning, that may occur during pool use. 7. PETS Please make sure to register your furry pets as there is an extra $75/pet charge for pet stays.
