The Casita on Duck Pond: Dune Access

Direct dune access!! Coastal adventure meets quiet retreat! This hidden gem of a home sleeps 4 and offers direct dune access, a short walk to Tenmile Lake, and quick drives to beaches and trails. Ride your ATVs, fish for bass, hike the coast, or simply relax by the pond with the ducks and a good book. Bring your ATVs, fishing boat, hiking boots, or stack of books and enjoy this peaceful spot to unwind after the day’s fun. Perfect for couples or small families seeking the best of both worlds. The space The Casita is located in Lakeside, Oregon - a quiet, small coastal community one mile east of Hwy 101 between Reedsport and Coos Bay. There is plenty of parking, and ATVs can be ridden directly to the dunes. The Casita has a full kitchen with everything you need for your stay including plenty of cooking spices. The bedroom includes a queen bed and fresh linens, a cloud-like comforter, lots of pillows, extra blankets, and cable television. The bathroom includes shampoo, conditioner, soap, thick towels, and beach towels. The living room offers a full-size pull-out sofa bed, cozy electric fireplace, cable television, a Bluetooth sound system, and soft throw blankets. The Casita was designed with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing including coffee, high-speed internet, plenty of free parking, space for an ATV trailer, and even food for the ducks. All you need to do is pack your bag! Situated on a duck pond, we are graced with a variety of seasonal wildlife including ducks, deer, frogs, and geese. In the winter, the pond may have up to 75-100 ducks fly in for the night. During the spring and summer, most of the ducks head to Tenmile Lake; however, a few usually hang around. The Casita is located in a quiet, private neighborhood next door to the Osprey Point RV Resort and just a short walk to Tenmile Lake. Guest access Guests have privacy and access to the entire house. The Casita has three parking spots available. Bring your ATVs/UTVs or fishing boat. The driveway is 24' deep from the garage to the street and 30' wide across the front. Vehicles and trailers will need to be unhitched or able to fit sideways in the 30' width. Please measure your vehicles to ensure fit. There is no street parking available. Other things to note Drive direct to the Oregon Dunes!! ATVs and UTVs are allowed within in our resort neighborhood and can be driven to Tenmile Lake, Osprey Point RV Resort, the Oregon Dunes, and any businesses along the dune access route. Boat rentals are available at Ringo's Lakeside Marina. Osprey Point RV Resort also has slip rentals and a boat launch. Lakeside County Park has three boat launches available.
