Why don't you pop in, and let us know if you agree? :) The studio spans most of the lower level of the main house, and the windows let in lots of natural light during the day, for a lower level apartment. There is a nice bit of downtown chatter during business hours, and Then it slows down and is calm in the early evening, throughout the night. **The unit has had soundproofing done, and please note that it does not block all sound transfer 100%. As it is a basement apartment, remember that there is a unit above you!** Here are some of a features you will find at The Snug: -Easy self check-in -55” 4K Smart TV with choice to use: Rogers Ignite 4K Cable TV, Crave TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime TV! And if you want to use your own devices, no sweat. The wi-fi connection is great and the TV is screen mirroring capable...so you can use your devices on the big screen! -BBQ: As far as outdoor dining goes, please bear with us as we are coming to the end of a large renovation and landscaping is the next one to do. That being said, steps from your door is a deck area with a propane bbq and bistro set that you are welcome to use to enjoy the outdoor air. There is even a secondary bbq area as a back up, should the need arise. Just shoot us a message for approval. -Cute living room area with loveseat, and coffee table. Have a beverage, and sit in comfort. -This place keeps cool all year and no need for Air Conditioning! A portable fan, dehumidifier and air purifier are on hand to keep it just perfect -Keurig Single Serve coffee machine, and a french press available! Use a pod to make one delicious cup of joe, or the classic ground beans for a nice brew. We will provide you with a little of both on check-in, to get you started And for those who need to work from home the dinner table is perfect: -Loads of room to sprawl out your equipment and stationery on the table -The fast, reliable internet with unlimited download will meet all your connectivity needs. You can smoothly face-time or zoom with your clients & co-workers. -There is good lighting at this spot day or night. -There is a power bar set up for you, right at the table. Don't worry about running out of juice :) Guest access The Snug can only be accessed through your private entrance, which is the side entrance to the home. -The INCLUDED parking spot is located RIGHT next door (literally) in a controlled parking lot. You will have an access card that will grant you unlimited access at all times of day...and of course the option to park as many extra vehicles as you wish there, at your own cost. There is a large driveway for access to load and unload your gear, right at your door...so you will not have to drag your luggage and belongings far at all. - the Wifi is fast and strong all over the WHOLE property. (**PLEASE NOTE : THE PROPERTY HAS JUST FINISHED A RENOVATION. There is still landscaping left to complete, so please bear with us. This will not affect your stay much, and of course you have your private patio and BBQ space. Once the renovations are completed we will update the listing and add pictures of our new and improved and exclusive outdoor patio area for you to enjoy.) Other things to note BOOKINGS Choose your dates, & book instantly! You can select different date combinations, starting with a 4 night minimum up to a 28 night stay, right now. How We Clean: After the end of one guest’s stay, & before the start of another, we will first air out the apartment and then is our grooming team allowed in. Then, the cleaning crew shall make it sparkle, with special attention paid to things like sanitizing all high-traffic/high-risk surfaces: floors, light switches, counters, door handles, bathroom fixtures & way more! Our team is well familiar with the products & their respective dwell times, that have been certified by the EPA to annihilate viruses like covid-19 . They are also adhering to all procedures & recommendations made by Health Canada, the CDC, etc. And for longer stays, if you want an extra professional cleaning done, this service can also be arranged for you (& extra costs negotiated). It would be impossible to completely guarantee a 100% sterile environment. But if you do book with us, you can rest assured that no expense has been spared, on every reasonable action to be taken, for us to ethically operate.
