Muddy Hill Moments by Tiny Away

Description

Celebrate your special occasions at Muddy Hill Moments! One of the best tiny house rentals secluded in a 9-acre property in Arrow Junction, set in a beautiful 2.5-acre garden with an orchard, a large vegetable garden, a stonewalled hothouse, ponds, and other unique garden elements that guests are welcome to explore. Although the tiny home is close to your host's home, guests will still have their much-deserved privacy and quiet getaway. The space Muddy Hill Moments by Tiny Away sits beyond our orchard and edible gardens in a secluded corner of a 4-acre paddock in its own private gravelled yard. In the warmer months, it’s surrounded by wildflowers. It offers breathtaking views across open fields of lucerne and mature trees to the soaring mountains beyond which are capped with snow in winter. It's one of the best tiny house rentals in Arrow Junction for seeing the sunrise, especially in the winter when a sea of frost covers the entire area, enhancing the spectacular mountain views. Nearby Aosta Arrowtown, Gibbston Valley Winery, and stunning lookouts such as Coronet Peak, and Brow Peak are just a few of the recommended local attractions. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). If you plan to spend your holiday homes NZ escape here, we advise that you bring warm clothing for winter during your stay with us. Thank you! IMPORTANT NOTE: CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED due to several open ponds and car workshops on the property that can be harmful to children if left unsupervised. Guest access Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings and are welcome to explore our gardens during the day. We also run a business, Old School Mechanical Ltd, which specializes in the restoration and repair of classic and vintage cars from the barn on our property (which also houses our museum). We would be pleased to give you a tour of our museum by prior appointment if you are interested. Our business is open on weekdays 8:30 am-5:00 pm, located not far from the tiny house with potential for noise occasionally during these hours, and due to health and safety requirements, we ask guests not to approach the workshop during these hours. Other things to note - Wifi is not available - No smoking allowed on the property - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Please do not enter the paddocks when animals are present - Good mobile coverage with Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark - Breakfast and charcuterie boards are available at an extra cost upon prior request - We encourage guests to enjoy our gardens except for the land host's private residence - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - We have two well-socialized and friendly small dogs on the property and ask guests not to encourage them to enter the tiny house - A composting bucket for fruit and vegetable scraps, and recycling bins are provided; conveniently positioned on the west side of the barn - Due to the elevation of the property there is potential for traffic noise from the main highway especially during peak hours and on still days. Our neighbors use a variety of farm equipment such as quad bikes, tractors, harrows, etc which guests may hear from time to time. Pre-booked activities: - Museum and hosted garden visits are free and by prior appointment with the host - Firewood kits are available at an extra cost and include kindling, firelighters, matches, and a supply of dry firewood - Mountain bikes are available for a daily rental fee with prior arrangement with the host. For all preorders, please contact the host 24 hrs before arrival. Important note: - Gas BBQ available during daylight savings months October - March - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - Given the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay - Due to several open ponds and car workshop, CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED as it may be harmful to children if left unsupervised. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding. Safety Reminder: - Fire ban period is from 20DEC23 to 30APR24
