7 Storey Windmill, dog friendly outdoor pool & BBQ

Standing imposingly in its own large garden with large outdoor pool and games barn, the windmill carefully marries an incredible piece of history with cutting edge design. Completely refurbished in 2024 the Old Mill now has 7 fully private bedrooms comprising one ground floor en-suite and 6 first floor bedrooms ( 3 of which are en-suite) making it ideal for multi-generational and large friendship groups. The space Created with Special occasion celebrations in mind, the ground floor of the windmill tower plays host to a stunning circular dining room, with glass walkway overhead, giving uninterrupted views above to the workings of The Old Windmill. 70 ft high on the seventh floor is the viewing tower, providing 360' spectacular views over beautiful Norfolk countryside. Guest access The Private Outdoor Pool is open and ready for use from April to October (inclusive). The pool can be heated on request to 28 degrees for a charge of £40.00 per night. Pool charges apply for the entirety of the rental period. Please note that the pool is not fenced off. The pool area at The Old Mill is relatively close to neighbouring gardens and so guests are asked to be respectful and considerate by not using offensive language, loud music or shouting in the pool area.This applies especially in the hours after 8pm . Towels, including pool towels are supplied. The garden has a 14ft trampoline with a safety net and an outside games barn contains a pool table, football table, ping-pong table and a selection of lawn games, cricket sets, footballs etc. The trampoline is for use by children only. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers and outside dining areas seating up to 15. CHILDREN, LESS MOBILE GUESTS AND PETS: A fixed retractable mesh stair gate spans the entire width of the French doors in the kitchen to prevent unsupervised access to the garden and pool area by children and/or pets. Children's equipment on hand to lessen the packing load: 2 travel Cots (please bring your own bedding) 2 X high chairs Junior bed (suitable for up to age 6/7) Steam Steriliser Baby Bath seat Soft bed rail (those those in transition from cot to 'big bed') Baby monitor Portable Stair gates Children's plates and cutlery (dishwasher and microwave friendly) Night Lights (Plug in ) Portable stair gates ELDERLY MOBILITY AIDS: We really want our property to enable all generations to holiday together as far as we possibly can, so the following mobility aids are available at the house: Removable shower stool, removable toilet surround safety frame, fixed and portable grab rails and anti-slip half step that can be moved to make steps in the house easier to navigate. There is step free access to the back door of the house. Dogs: Sofa Protectors for children and/or pets Spare pet food and water bowls Standard changeover days are Monday and/or Friday. Other things to note Check in time is after 4pm. Departure time is before 10am.
