Wanderlust Suite is a elegantly furnished suite in Solitude Village's Eagle Springs East building where friends and family can reach ski lifts in winter and hiking trails in summer and fall within minutes. Quickly ski in across Solitude Village and enjoy access to Club Solitude's heated pool and other amenities located in the same building! This warm and welcoming vacation condo has an open floor plan with living room, dining table with seating for 6, a well-appointed kitchen, a primary suite with king bed and a guest bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, two full double vanity bathrooms, and a large patio with views of the Village. The open living room has two cozy couches for relaxing in front of the large gas fireplace (one sofa pulls out into a bed for 1). Above the gas fireplace is a high-definition smart TV for enjoying a movie or show after a day’s adventure. Fast and free fiber WiFi is provided. Please note: No Parties or Events are permitted. In winter, we strongly recommend planning to arrive by 8pm at the latest to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. We have employees who live nearby and can address issues in person if needed. Otherwise, we're always a text or call away! Solitude is divided into two areas from which to begin your winter or summer mountain adventures—the lower Moonbeam area and the Village base area where Wanderlust is located.  From the Village area, the Apex Express chairlift is only a short walk.  The Sunrise chairlift also runs out of the Village base area and both the Apex Express and Sunrise lifts take you to access the higher chair lifts.  Finally, the Link Lift connects the lower Moonbeam and upper Village areas.  Summer at Solitude means that the slopes and lifts have been transformed to provide scenic chairlift rides, lift-served mountain biking and hiking, a beautiful 18-hole disc golf course and more. The Solitude Village offers several dining options within a short distance from Wanderlust:  on-mountain dining at the Roundhouse in winter with its distinct circular design and hearty menu of Himalayan- and Wasatch-inspired mountain food, the Last Chance Southwest Grill with a spicy Latin taco bar and Southwest-inspired fare and the Moonbeam Day Lodge in the lower mountain area for cafeteria-style dining,.  After you have exhausted yourself on the mountain, head to the the Thirsty Squirrel or the Library Bar both offering local, handcrafted brews and as well as wine and cocktails. Or take the family to Stone Haus Pizzeria & Creamery for delicious pizza and ice cream, only steps away from the house.  For fine dining, the Honeycomb Grill`s menu features eclectic, contemporary American cuisine using fresh, locally-sourced, and sustainable ingredients or St. Bernard’s offers a selection of mountain family favorites in a casual and comfortable buffet-style setting.  For a one of a kind fine-dining experience, The Yurt offers a guided evening snowshoe adventure to a Mongolian style yurt where your four-course meal is prepared by chefs as you watch. Whether its skiing, snowboarding, or snowshoeing in the winter or biking, hiking, or soaking up the sunshine and fresh air in the summer, Wanderlust has quick access to all of these activities!   Solitude Resort is right outside your front door, offering quick lift access while Brighton Ski Resort is a quick 10 minute drive up the road.  Wanderlust is a great home to start your day of adventuring, and to plan your next vacation! AWD with snow tires in the winter is required. We have a parking pass for 1 car for the heated underground garage. There is also a UTA ski bus that runs frequently in the winter between Brighton, Solitude, and the base of the canyon. Additional cars may park at the paid lot nearby. The canyon requires 4WD/AWD vehicles with snow tires or chains in the winter (November - April). Quiet Hours are 10pm-7am. Events, weddings, large gatherings, or accommodating more than the designated number of people a booked property is advertised to sleep is not permissible at ANY property that the Cottonwood Lodging Company (CLC) manages. Due to restrictive ordinances and the desires of CLC owners to preserve the peace and tranquility of neighbors and our community, these "events" are not permitted, ever, as they can be disruptive and are additional wear and tear on the property and grounds. We apologize for the limitations this may put on your plans to stay with us, but please understand that CLC must (and will) make every effort to monitor, enforce and protect the interest of our owners and our community. In the event, you are found to have violated this rule you may face potential legal or financial penalties. Absolutely NO DOGS ALLOWED. Not only is it illegal to have dogs in Big Cottonwood Canyon due to watershed and forest service regulations but the owners of this property have a serious pet allergy that prohibits animals of any kind. If staff or neighbors report the presence of dogs, the guests will have to be asked to vacate and pay for additional sanitizing. We apologize for such strict precautions.
