You will have your own entrance and private access; however, please be mindful of neighbors in this historic residential neighborhood knowing that noise can travel. There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life. Other things to note - There is a glass door that connects the apartment to the owners’ dwelling, but it locks separately on both sides so the owners’ cannot access the apartment when locked on the apartment side. There is also a divider/screen available for additional privacy. The owners will never come down the stairs and cannot see down the stairs despite the unique glass design. There is a wall mounted remote-control for guests to open and close the black-out shades on the apartment side of the glass door for both privacy and darkness. There are blackout shades in the bedroom and both exterior doors, as well, so the entire apartment can remain private and dark during the night. - Family-friendly amenities such as a Pack 'n Play are available upon request.
