The space The Aboriginal 'Omaroo' translates to beautiful view coming from its commanding presence among Mudgee’s rolling hills. This sprawling property combines a picturesque natural setting with close proximity to the heart of town. Generous in size, it’s spread across one level with multiple outdoor spaces capturing panoramic views across the Mudgee skyline. Whether it’s a morning coffee on the front verandah, sundowners on the balcony or cooking marshmallows around the fire pit, this is country living at its finest. The front of the property opens into the living and family room. It is open plan with a grand dining table and central fireplace to keep things cosy. The chefs’ kitchen is designed around an island bench making it easy to prepare meals, socialise or take things slow in the morning up at the breakfast bar. In the evenings, kick back on the plush sofas with a central TV or unwind with a book in the second seating area. This property comes with five bedrooms and is well suited to families or large groups. Each has been luxuriously appointed and comes with air-conditioning and heating to keep things comfortable no matter what season you’re travelling. The sumptuous master is set with a king-sized bed and benefits from a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. The bright second and third bedrooms each offer a queen-sized bed, side tables and reading lights. In the fourth bedroom you’ll find a bunk bed, while a king-single in the fifth bedroom means there is plenty of space for kids. The house is also well stocked with children’s books, toys, a highchair and porta cot. A contemporary main bathroom makes it easy to refresh in style, while internal laundry facilities add to your everyday convenience. There is an undercover carport and ample parking on the driveway. Guest access During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourself. Please make yourself at home! Other things to note Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated, thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, use certain appliances, and anything else you may need to know. Please note, firewood is only supplied to guests from April to September. If you are staying outside of these months, please be sure to pick some up on your way! You'll find a porta cot and a high chair for your convenience. If you require cot linen, including a towel, it's available for an additional fee of $15.
