Lakefront House 4BR/2BA Retreat on Austin Lake near Kalamazoo The space 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom lake house offering a terrific blend of modern comfort and serene natural beauty. Conveniently nestled on Austin Lake (1100 acre all-sports/6.5 miles around), this lake front property boasts great views, abundant water activities, and a private dock for your enjoyment. With kayaks and a canoe at your disposal (seasonal), you'll have everything you need for unforgettable lake adventures. We focus on working 1:1 with company relocations, project assignments, and rentals >30 days in particular that help support the growth of our community. Just reach out! The Space: The spacious living area features a large living room and windows out to the lake views. Unwind out on the deck or inside on the couches, or watch your favorite shows and sports on the 75" flat-screen. The kitchen is fully-equipped, offering modern appliances, ample counter space, and all the essential cookware to cook or grill out. Enjoy meals out on the furnished deck with seating for everyone (5 person table + picnic table) and enjoy the serene lake views as your backdrop. Outdoor Space: Step out onto the large deck and take in the captivating scenery over the 50 feet of sandy shoreline on Austin Lake. Take in the sun on the deck, the private dock or take out the kayaks and canoe to explore or do some large mouth bass / blue gill fishing. Great place to for family gatherings or extended corporate stays (just message us). Dedicated office/work space in each Bedroom (extra monitors for the Zoomers), plus a dedicated office/flex space that opens into the living room and on out to the lake <10 minutes from the nearby shopping, incredible and plentiful breweries, and the AZO Airport and AirZoo. ~15 minutes from downtown Kalamazoo and WMU. Snow skiing resort within 40 minutes. Perfectly located halfway between Chicago/Detroit (with Amtrak service to both 15 min away) Pontoon Rental information is available by contacting Sunset Pontoon Rentals (two day minimums) at Sunset Pontoon Rentals. You are welcome to bring your own boat (public drop nearby) Parking in driveway/garage only (3 small/medium vehicles). Do NOT pull up into lawn/park (not legal/will be ticketed - and can damage plumbing/grass). No commercial work vehicles. Always use handrails and assist with children. Stairs may be marked with tape as a reminder in an extra abundance of caution for you/guests safety until they are replaced There may (on rare instances) be very limited in-progress house remodeling/repair projects (primarily siding/outside) taking place along with some updating inside the home. We appreciate your understanding while we continue to make updates and improvements! Please DO NOT park vehicles on the lawn. No Tents (or objects in the yard at night as they may get wet from the watering) No Campfires / Fireworks No additional guests permitted beyond what is entered at the time of booking (Airbnb only insures for those listed guests) No paddle/noise making devices that might disturb the neighbors
