Description

Kick back & relax in this calm, stylish space. Completed in April 2023, this spacious and airy cottage can be the perfect base to explore the Cabot Trail, or it can be a destination unto itself. Nestled in the woods, with panoramic views of Sugar Loaf Mountain, watch the sun rise over Aspy Bay-- a calm, pristine bay with gradual entry perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Drive the stunning Cabot Trail to explore the many local beaches, go whale watching, or feast on local fare. The space The house is designed to be open and spacious - it is a single story home featuring double ceiling height in the kitchen, living area, and primary bedroom. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. The house is surrounded with mature trees and has panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The house is on North Harbour of Aspy Bay. It has a sloped waterfront with gradual entry. There are some steps from the deck to ground level, and upon entry to the front door. The house is equipped with a well and a top of the line iron filter. It is safe for drinking and household use, however, some guests prefer to bring their own bottled drinking water. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the home with the exception of two locked closets. Other things to note We have a iron filter installed for the water. It makes for great drinking water and prevents rust stains, but it discharges approximately once per week. It is set to go off at 3am when no one is using water. You may hear the sound of running/whooshing water from the principal bedroom closet. The installer recommended not using any water (flushing toilets, running the tap, etc.) during this process.
