Black Dog Cottage

Make some memories at this unique and family/pet friendly place. Slow down and relax in an original Old Town cottage and walk to the beach and Old Town. Please understand that this is one of the oldest island homes where we have preserved it's history. If new is you then this house is not for you! The space This is one of the original Old Town cottages built in the 1940s. It is comfortably decorated to be shared with family, friends and pets. The kitchen is appointed for big meals. One bedroom with a trundle bed, is decorated as an old fashioned playroom with wooden toys and colored pencils. The other 3 have a queen or king bed and all access a full bath. There is a free standing tub with hand held sprayer. We have a crib upon request. The salt water pool has easy access steps and graduated depth to 5.5 feet. As needed and as weather permits, we can heat it to 93 degrees. The Black Dog Cottage is decorated in black dogs. If you prefer fancy, shiny or new then this house is not for you. It is for those who seek a sense of the history of this island, in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Guest access You have an entire house. The pool is in a fenced back yard shared with our home next door. Other things to note Minimum age for rental is 25.
