Activities available at the park are plentiful and include hiking trails, walking paths, scenic running, mountain biking, fat biking, skating, canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, and swimming at Crowley Lake. Equipment for most activities can be rented at the Kivi Park Chalet or you can bring your own. The space This former small family home has been completely renovated right down to the studs to bring it new life as a short term rental dwelling that exudes warmth and charm year-round. Two super comfy queen size beds await as many as four of you after a long day of fun, sun, and adventure. If ice fishing is your thing, bring your gear because there’s great ice fishing on Long Lake. Walleye, bass, perch, pike, and lake trout are the most prominent species from what I hear. Traversing Long Lake right out back of the cottage is access to the OFSC main hub trail C108D for winter snowmobiling so this is a great spot to overnight on your next sledding trip! We have lots of space for yard games. Guest access Guests have full reign of the house, yard, and waterfront. Feel free to swim in the water out back of the cottage, cook up a delicious meal on the BBQ, have a campfire, relax on the back deck while taking in the beautiful lake view, or jump from the dock to cool off. If you’ve got a small boat, launch it nearby at the Moxam’s Landing boat launch and tie it to the dock. If you’re super cool and drive an EV like a Tesla, there’s a handy 240v, 30amp, level 2 outlet you can plug into to quickly charge up your ride at the side of the cottage by the driveway, or if you have an RV, can plug it in here too! Other things to note No specific rules in the house other than we just ask that outdoor footwear not be worn indoors as well as just general respect for the property, surroundings, and neighbours. If you make a mess, please clean up after yourselves. Also, no smoking indoors please.
