Shore Thing Cape Charles (formerly known as Purple Daze on HGTV’s Beachfront Bargain Hunt S26 E12) is a beautiful beach house in the gated community of Kings Bay. Only one short block away from a small private beach and a quick walk to the Oyster Farm Seafood Eatery! Ride your bike or take a golf cart less than a mile away into historic downtown Cape Charles to enjoy the public beach, free fishing pier, and the shops and restaurants along Mason Avenue. This beach house boasts an updated kitchen with brand-new stainless steel appliances including a gas range! The 1st-floor master suite has a king bed and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a large tub. The 2nd-floor rooms include a queen bedroom with a balcony, a bedroom with two twins and a balcony, a double bunk-bed room, and a jack-and-jill bathroom. There is also a 3rd-floor loft with a wet bar, fridge, and TV- it’s one of our favorite places to watch the breathtaking sunsets. *The Ring doorbell camera is installed on the front of the house for the security of the property only. Everything you need will be provided: bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels (5), a beach cart, beach chairs (8), and beach toys; a fully stocked kitchen; high-speed internet; 4 TVs with Amazon Fire Sticks. We have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Disney for your use, but do not have cable or dish TV. For your outdoor adventures, we provide our guests with two adult beach cruisers, two single-person kayaks, and a paddle board. *Signed waiver required* Cape Charles is golf cart friendly so RESERVE YOUR GOLF CART EARLY when booking your reservation. Bay Creek is also a short drive where you can enjoy a 2-mile-long private beach, an outdoor pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day), and tennis courts.
