Gorgeous Lakeview Guest Suite at Horse Lake

For group or a family get away,we offer 3 bedroom self-contained basement suite with ground floor private entrance (Bedroom#1 Queen, #2 Queen and a futon(double)# 3 is corner secluded room-no door but with curtains for privacy with queen bed). Hosts live one level up so you know your needs will be taken care of. Calendar may look available, please message The space Our location has the view of Horse Lake (not waterfront, a 15 minute walk to a nearby boat launch) and is very close to nature trails. Perfect for viewing wildlife, biking, hiking, riding ATV and dirt bikes, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, tubing, wake boarding,or just simply swimming on the lake in the summer time. In the winter time, you can plan for an experience of a snowmobile ride along cross country trails or ice fishing in the frozen lake. All these outdoor activities can be done in just a few distance from our property. And if you decide to do a little bit more, there is always something seriously fun here for everyone. If you are planning for your adventure, there is horseback riding, skiing, golfing, sightseeing tour, dining, parks, falls and wildlife, festivals and arts. There are countless ways to spend your holidays in the scenic and beautiful South Cariboo . There is a pergola deck with outdoor furniture and propane fire pit table with cool night lights and fairy lights for entertaining guests. or at daytime, sit and relax and enjoy the view of the lake while you may be able to see lots of deer come in the yard. We do have a wood fire pit as well , you can use if there is no fire ban. We have kayaks (2) that we can lend to you ( if we are not using them) to have fun in Horse lake and we can provide life vests (but not all sizes are available) . You need a truck/vehicle to haul them to the boat lunch which is just 2-3 minutes away. Horse lake has 2 boat launches. One is by the Skadays Bridge where people mostly swim( also under the bridge) because this boat launch is not too busy in the summer compared to the other one. There is no beach or picnic area in both boat launches. But there is a nearby resort where guests can rent more canoes, boats, kayaks, etc. There is a strong cellphone signal in the area. Free Wifi. Shopping and dining is just 7-10 minutes drive from our location. There are 3 Grocery stores and a lot of restaurants and food chains. There is complimentary breakfast supplies. We do not serve cooked breakfast meal. Guest access Guests can have access to all the amenities of the suite, making it a very comfortable stay for the guests. The basement suite has the ff amenities : 1. a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven with stove, fridge, coffee maker , utensils, microwave oven, toaster, etc. 2. dining area 3. living room area with couches, 55" TV 4. bathroom with toilet, separate shower and bath tub ( towel and toiletries provided) 5. some bedrooms have computer desk and chair. No AC but electric fans are provided. The suite does not get too hot as it is in the basement part of the house. 6. Game amenities-chess, darts 7. They can also enjoy the outdoors. We have spacious green lawn, where they can play outdoor games (horse shoe pit, badminton) or just sit and relax under the sun, lots of sitting area with picnic table and lawn chairs. 8. Entertaining at pergola deck with outdoor furniture and fire pit table , cool lighting and fairy lights. Enjoy the view of the lake and wildlife. Free high speed internet (WiFi) , shaw cable and netflix. Complimentary breakfast supplies , we do not serve cooked breakfast meals. Please note that: 1.Dryer and washer are available for a fee $10 each load, also there are 2 laundry services (Laundromat, etc.) in town just 7 minutes drive from here.
