A: Pohorelec 13 and password HOTELHOTEL If the wifi is week, let us know, the router need to be restarted or the line is busy by too many devices on. Maybe enjoy fresh beer next door or beautiful Praha instead! Q: Key from the house/room? A:We do not meet our guest as the place is selfoperated. 1-2 days prior to your arrival we send you to your email (provided via airbnb) all info regarding the place (address, parking, etc.) and 6 digit PIN code which enters the house and room! Q:Where can i park my car? A: There are paid restrected zones all around our place as it is in historical downtown. We recommend nearby hotel Pyramida secured parking for 300czk night or there is parking near student colleges near our place or secretly in Strahov monestary (we tell you the trick if you ask). Parking zones: in front of our apartment its blue zone – residents only. Green zone is at Pohorec square in fron of our place – Mon – Sunday 8-18 max. 6 hours, 30,- (1,2eur) per hour. In the nearby street Parlerova its Violet zone – Mon – Friday 8 am to 6 am, no max., 20,- 0,8 eur hour. There are some free places around stadium Strahov. See on map, there are visible zones and no parking zones! (URL HIDDEN) Q:What if i have any problem, like witht he pin pad or something else urgent? A: We give you two private numbers, Tomas and Radek, and we will try to get back to you asap. Subjected to our time and reach (we have life and families). Plus we give you 24/7 to reception of by us operated hotel Holiday Inn Prague airport. They can help you with urgent issues. The duty manager has keys to the aprtments and cleaning ladies are hotel owned! In extreme case the hotel will take care of you! Tomas +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Radek +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Holiday Inn Prague Airport (our sister hotel) reception (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Q: Check in and check out? A: As there may be other guests before and after you, we are strict on checkout 12 and check in 3 pm as our cleaning lady needs some time to clean the room. Subjected to request. Q:What is the equipment of the room? A: The rooms are pretty similar to basic hotel rooms- bed, bathroom, tv, kettle, wifi, NO kitchen so no cooking and no making noodles. There is tons of places to eat around and try local cuisine. We repeat no cooking in our rooms! Simple and convenient! Extra is security storage for luggage in the basement and free bicycles on request. Q: Breakfast or halfboard? A: The rooms are simple and self operated. We prefer if our guest enjoy local cousine. There is breakfast place one tram stop above our place (Moje Kredenc) and local places to eat and 4 stops above station U Kastanu by tram 22 there are local places to eat- Indian, Kebab, Chinesse, three local pubs, BILLA grocery, etc. Take 4 stops by tram 22 towards Bila Hora and walk balk to our place, its 10 minutes walking, the district is very local non tourist very safe called BREVNOV! We also recommend behind the corner Klasterni pivovar Strahov - own brewery, great kitchen, prices little above average. Q: Any tips about Prague? A: We send you some tips any we recommend youtube channel Honest Guide Q: Too hot or too cold in the room? A: If hot close the radiator heads by turning and open window (please lock it by hook) if cold do the other way around:) There is no AC in the rooms as it was not allowed by city historical bureau. Only fan on request if available. Q:Wifi does not work or too slow? A: We have distance access to routers and try to monitor or restart time to time. We could also tell you how to restart the router the hard way, subjected to request! Q:TV does not work! A: Complicated issue. One remote controls both TV and settopbox (STB). By switching between the upper buttonst TV and STB you control either TV (here is important input which should be HDMI 1 or HDMI side) and STB controls swithching channels. The way should be, press TV, then power, TV goes on, then STB, power and STB goes on, then keep swithing programs on STB and watch. If it does not work try to press TV again and input on HDMI 1, then STB again and start watching :) Sorry, we will try to find other system. Q:How do i reach the place by public transport or taxi? A:We send you all the info by email. The location is Pohořelec, Prague 1. Easily have a look at (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps that offer how to reach the place by foot, public transport or car (taxi). From airport we sometime offer our own transport - depends on availability and subjected to enquiry. By public transport you can take bus 191 to Diskarska station and walk 15 mins or by bus 119 to metro Veleslavín, then to metro station Malostranska and then few stops by tram 22 to Pohorelec. From main train station or bus use metro to Malostranska and then transfer to tram 22 4 stops to Pohořelec, very easy. From taxi we recommend UBER or Green-prague Taxi by Student Agency (18CZK per Km) (URL HIDDEN) Q:We arrive early or depart late, where can we leave our luggage? A:We offer the possibility to place your luggage in our deposit at the airport at Holiday Inn Prague Airport, need to be arrranged in advance. There is a direct bus to our hotel from Veleslavin metro, bus stop U Hangaru. Its not possible to leave anything in the room as there are other guests departing or arriving and there is no locker room in the house and it will not be safe! In our hotel we offer the service of safe deposit and possibility of direct transport to and from the airport to the hotel with direct shuttle. Q:Payments, ammendments or future enquiries? A:We strictly do everything via aribnb, so please follow airbnb app rules! Q: Is there AC in the room? A: AC was not allowed by the preservationists, so be aware that during hot days you may need to open windows and since the tram 22 is close it may cause noise. We installed 2 doubleglassed windows but be aware of possible noise if windows openned. We can provide FAN if needed. Generally its an old building that is rather cool.
