Bamboo Villa - Embrace the Tropical Vibes

Our fabulous, chill-out zone, the Bamboo Villa, is the ideal spot for your upcoming Cairns getaway. Nestled just across from the Botanical Gardens, it's a leisurely stroll away from yummy eateries, cozy cafes, and handy stores. Only a 5-minute skip from the airport and downtown. The space Bamboo Villa The perfect tropical escape, just a click away. Situated in Cairns’ booming urban hub, Edge Hill, our Bamboo Villa is a self-contained 1 bedroom just across from the Botanical Gardens. The house is fully air-conditioned with a separate bedroom. It’s stocked with everything you need for a wonderful stay in Cairns. There’s a coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, large robe for clothes, microwave, cooking utensils and indoor and outdoor dining. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwashing detergent, clothes washing detergent, tea and coffee. A typical weekend in Edge Hill starts with brunch at one of the locality’s many cafes (we recommend Ozmosis, Noa and Ten One Twenty). All of these cafes are no more than a 10 minute walk from your front door. After a satisfying bite, you head for a walk up the Red Arrow. It’s an uphill bushwalk just next to the Botanical Gardens with a stunning view of Cairns at the top, perfect for burning off a pancake stack. After that little burst of exercise you might need a rest. You head back to your Villa and have a much deserved power nap. Next, you pack some lunch and head to the city to cool off at the esplanade. After your dip, you cook up a feast at one of the communal barbeques. Entering your next food coma, it’s time to relax in the sun and pick up a good book with a view of the ocean as you read. By this point, you’ve rested enough, it’s time for a drink. You head over to the Riley, which is also on the esplanade. After a drink on the ground floor, you take things up a notch by heading to the rooftop bar. The Riley serves a mean cocktail, and their nibblies aren’t too bad either. After a jam-packed day in the sun (with albeit quite a lot of relaxation), it’s about time to head home. You’re feeling a bit lazy so you pick up some takeaway at the Edge Hill village. Ozmosis and Noa also do a really amazing dinner, but we love Japanese restaurant, Haruka as well. You take your takeaway and pull out a board game. You finish the day off with a little wholesome fun and then head to bed. The Bamboo House is both an ideal place to indulge in luxury and have some unashamed relaxation with absolutely no one to judge you.
