This room can be used for 1 person or ideally with parents in our B&B Double room. There is room for a cot or mattress for 2 children with a £20 supplement for an extra child or £15 for infant. My place is close to the historic Hambledon Hill and the Wessex Ridgeway walk. 2 pubs and an Organic Farm Shop within 5 minutes walk!. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood. My place is good for solo adventurers and business travellers. The space Hawthorn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is located on the edge of Child Okeford (North Dorset) overlooking open countryside and occupies an idyllic position under the spectacular Hambledon Hill. We have twin and double rooms. We are ideally located for business in Blandford Forum or Shaftesbury making it an ideal place to stay if working and travelling in Dorset. This quiet corner of the North Dorset countryside contains all you need to keep you occupied for your stay. The village has two pubs one of which is only a few minutes walk away and an Organic Farm Shop which is also conveniently close. The walks up Hambledon Hill and in the surrounding countryside are spectacular. Within 40 mins of Bournemouth (Airport), Poole, Bath, Southampton and Salisbury. Nearest town, Blandford Forum (5 miles) or Shaftesbury (7 miles). Nearest station Gillingham (10 miles) or Salisbury. We can accomodate your every need and children are particularly welcome. As parents ourselves we can provide cots, highchairs, pushchairs, monitors, playground equipment etc. We can also provide a babysitting service. During your stay We meet and greet our guests or arrange for someone to show you around and give you a key.
