A cabin with boats and bikes, set on a nature reserve. Like glamping but lots more comfortable. Cosy heated lodge on an award winning farm. Perfect as a 'bolt hole' escape. Big windows overlook a meadow with Dartmoor in the distance. Relax in the porch swing, enjoy a Devon scone welcome. Double and bunks sleep 4. Owners live onsite and are always happy to help. The space The lodge has double and bunk bedrooms, a large stylish open plan living/kitchen area (incl. hob, oven, microwave fridge/freezer etc). Bathroom with loo, basin and shower. Free wi-fi. Veranda with porch swing, and steps to meadow. MAX. 4 guests in this lodge. Guest access As well as the lodge, guests get the run of our 21 acre nature reserve. Please just ask if you'd like a free guided walk. Please also contact us if you have specific access needs - we're happy to help. In summary, the car-park is 20 metres from the lodge along a hard path. There are 4 steps up to the door then level access inside. Other things to note We are 2 miles from the village of Winkleigh. Nights are dark and spectacular when clear. It is quiet here, and we often see and hear owls hunting at dusk. Local pubs do good food, or you can order ahead from the nearby farm shop.
