Unique lakefront house 15 min to Stockholm city

Our charming house is situated in a unique location right by Järlasjön. Swim off the private dock, use the boat to go fishing or just relax in the sauna by the lake or in the garden. Stockholm city is just 3 km away, easily reachable by bike, car and public transport. We have two cats and prefer guests that would like to care of them as well. They are very affectionate, also with children. The space We absolutely love our home and its location, and we think you will too! The access to the water , the beautiful garden combined with the proximity to the city makes this house unique. The house is situated on a small peninsula by lake Järlasjön, which is connected to the ocean with a lock in Hammarby Sjöstad. The house was built in 1925, and has all of its rustique charm still intact. It's not big (125 m2) but easily sleeps a family of five (like us) if you use the pull-out double bed . If you are OK with staying in the basement there is a queen size bed there as well (see photo of ‘bedroom 4’. When you look out the window from the kitchen and the living room, you will see water in three directions, literally just a few steps away. In the summertime you can go swimming in the lake (water temperature in July-August usually 21-23 degrees Celsius), or you can use the wood fired sauna next to the water. For more activity, use the twin kayak, the canoe, the paddle board or take the boat and try your luck fishing for pike, perch or pikeperch. There is also a kids' sailing dinghy (optimist). There is a big trampoline in the garden that the kids (and some adults too) will love, and there is an outdoor table tennis table. We also have a few garden games like croquet and badminton as well. You can use our bikes, we have several for both adults and children. We have streaming services such as Netflix, which one(s) vary. Guest access You will have access to the entire property. Other things to note We have two friendly cats and prefer to let them stay at home when we are away. They are very affectionate, used to children, and easy to look after, but guests need to like cats and to not mind giving them food and water a couple of times a day.
